Chapter AFTER I AMAZED 159
Chapter 159
Asly
grin played on his lips as he shook his head.
"I'm courting you now," he replied with a smirk.
"A ride home is in order." He held the bouquet up slightly, as if to make his point clearer. "Ceremony is important, after all."
I couldn't help but let out a small sigh, but there was a warmth beneath it, unspoken.
As we walked shoulder to shoulder toward the front of my villa, the evening air was thick with unspoken tension.
sun had dipped below the horizon, leaving behind a soft twilight that cast long shadows over the manicured lawns and gently swaying trees.
The scent of roses lingered between us, mixing with the earthy smell of the grass and the distant hint of rain that threatened to fall.
Despite the calm night, there was an electric pull between us, crackling in the air like a storm waiting to break.
Leo's presence was undeniable, tall and confident beside me, his movements steady and sure.
We didn't speak, but the silence wasn't uncomfortable.
It was charged, heavy with everything we wanted to say but couldn't.
When we reached the stairs to the entrance, I turned to him, reaching for the bouquet.
The soft petals brushed against my fingers as I took the flowers from his hands.
"You should go back now," I said, my voice softer than I had intended.
"Good," he agreed, his tone casual, but his eyes told a different story.
I had just turned to leave when, without warning. I felt his strong arm circle my waist.
In an instant, he pulled me into the shadows of a nearby tree, its branches rustling softly above us.
Before I could react, his hand cupped my chin, tilting my face up toward his, and his lips crashed down on mine-fierce, urgent, and unrelenting
The kiss was fast and frenzied, leaving me breathless, and just as I raised my hand to push him away, Leo broke the contact, stepping back as if he'd anticipated my reaction.
My heart pounded in my chest, both from the kiss and the surprise of it, my lips tingling with the sudden heat.
Anger flared, and without thinking, I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, glaring at him in shock.
"Leo!" I snapped, my voice trembling with a mix of frustration and disbelief.
No matter how much I scolded or swatted at him, he just stood there, smiling like a mischievous child caught in the act.
His grin only widened as I continued to chastise him, but there was no malice in it-only a kind of stubborn affection that made my heart beat faster despite myself.
"Stop smiling," I grumbled, my hands still on my hips.
But I couldn't stay mad at him, not when he looked at me like that. "This is your last warning."
His chuckle was deep, and he raised his hands in surrender. "I hear you, loud and clear."
With that, I turned back toward the villa, muttering under my breath as I went inside.
I immediately grabbed my phone and called the home improvement company, scheduling a full lock change on the house from top to bottom.
Leo's antics were getting out of hand, and I needed my boundaries respected.

Chapter 159
When he comes back to my house next time, he'll regret today's impulsive move, because at that day he couldn't open my door.
The next morning, I boarded a plane bound for St.
Arlia, a small, picturesque region known for its rich musical history.
It was here that a recital was set to take place, featuring Anton Marlin, a renowned pianist who would be playing "Elegy for a Lost Love"*.
I was eager to hear how someone else interpreted the piece, hoping it would give me some inspiration for my upcoming performance.
More than three hours later, I stepped off the plane, not noticing the handsome man with sunglasses and a playful smirk who trailed a few steps behind me, blending into the crowd of travelers. Imade my way to the car waiting to take me to the hotel, and just as I settled into the backseat, my phone rang. It was Rolin
Heard you're in St. Arlia," his voice came through, casual and knowing. "For the recital, right?"
I blinked, momentarily stunned.
"How did you know?" I asked, glancing out the window, suspicion creeping into my voice.
Rolín didn't answer. Instead, there was a soft chuckle, and before I could probe further, the line went dead.
I stared at the phone for a moment, unsettled by the cryptic call.
Twenty minutes later, I arrived at the venue, only to be told at the door that the tickets were sold out.
"But I booked in advance," I protested, my frustration evident.
The ticket clerk looked genuinely apologetic, explaining that there must have been a system error and that the tickets had been snatched up the moment they went on sale.
I stood there, unsure of what to do next, when suddenly, a hand rested lightly on my shoulder.
I turned to see Rolin standing beside me, a relaxed smile on his lips and two VIP tickets held up in his hand.
