Chapter 103: Stanley ‘STAN’ Norris vs. Ian ‘WILL’ Williams ~ The great reveal!

***

The huge conference room of the Stanwood Pack was filled with everyone who knew about the mind-blowingly crazy invisibility plan. And that meant about six elders including the high priestess, Gloria, Joel, and Deloris, every head of function, the five other betas who served under Stan, the alpha and his mate, the alpha of all alphas and his mate, and of course Paige's mate, Amber, and Deloris' daughter, Camille.

The room was buzzing with excitement. All eyes were trained on the empty seat up front and the soldier who was clearly trying to stifle his laughter, standing by the seat. They were calling it the grand reveal. They had all missed the man of the moment and didn't want to miss the moment he would become visible again. The people gathered in the conference room were as anxious and excited as kids about to receive their Christmas presents.

"Shit, these fools look too excited," Stan laughed. "I can bet my left testicle Pete and George have hard-ons this very moment."

Will burst into laughter even as Deloris beckoned Ryan to join her beside the empty chair.

"What's the idiot saying?" Paige quipped.

"Probably talking shit," Troy chuckled.

"He says he's sure Pete and George are so excited they probably have hard-ons." Will's straight face made what he said even more funny. Everyone dissolved into laughter. "Fuck you, boss," Pete shouted.

"Tell the idiot I'm invisible, not deaf," Stan laughed. "Maybe I should keep this invisibly shit for an extra day or two just to have some fun in this..."

"Noooo..." Will shook his head but couldn't suppress his laughter. This time he didn't wait to be asked what his mate had said. "He wants to maintain his invisibility for a day or two."

The shouts of 'no' that went up made Stan laugh his arse off. "Not on your life, Stanley." The high priestess shouted to the amusement of everyone.

"Do we look stupid to you, Stanislav?" Camille screeched. "Mum, please ink his arse because we need to know what his naughty self is up to anytime.

"Surely you know we can't risk having a mischievous you running around this pack invisible, Stanley," Gloria scoffed.

"If it were Ryan on the other hand..." Kate drawled.

"Oh, totally sis," Paige slapped her palm against Kate's. "Just not this idiot."

"Know what?" Stan tilted his head to give his mate a mock-thoughtful look. "That's the second time she's called me an idiot," he muttered, referring to Paige. "Gotta teach her a lesson." He got to his feet.

"What are you doing?" Will saw his mate's determined demeanor and just knew he wouldn't be able to stop whatever the warrior had in mind.

"Something I should have done a long time ago." Stan turned to face Will, his eyes filled with sheer naughtiness. "Permission to shock the bitch and her witch."

The grin that widened Will's lips actually alarmed the people in the conference room. 'You have my permission.' Will murmured on their mind-link even as he coiled an arm around Stan's shoulder and accepted a sweet languid kiss from his mate. "Do your thing," He said out loud.

"Will...what's going on?" Jeremy asked with a wary look.

"Is he still seated?" Deloris' question made Ryan laugh.

"Of course he's not, Del," Ryan chuckled. All anyone needed to do was take a look at Will to know his mate was not in his seat."

"Stanley, come on," the warlock groaned but Stan was already making a beeline for his target who was seated beside her confused mate.

And when he got to Amber, he leaned down, cupped her face, and then gave her a mind-melting kiss that Amber just couldn't fight. When Stan ended the kiss, Amber looked totally flushed. Paige and a few others who had noticed what was going on, stared at Amber in shock.

"Oh, my god he just kissed me," Amber moaned as she covered her eyes.

"The son-of-a-bitch!" Paige groaned. "Stan come on, I thought this was over."

"It wasn't, Paige." Will grinned. "That particular one was outstanding. And what better time to clear it than when you couldn't see it coming?" Paige would have definitely used one of the three wishes she'd earned from winning that kissing bet to stop Stan if she'd known.

"Oh you two..." but even as Paige flipped a bird with both hands, her brother Philip's mind was racing.

"Stanley, don't you dare..." Philip growled and then drew an amused Troy into his lap.

"Settle down, Alpha," Will chuckled. "You didn't kiss his mate, did you? I mean I don't remember you kissing me."

"No, I didn't." Philip gave a sigh of relief.

"You're safe." The Arrowhead raised a hand to give his cocky mate a high-five. 'That was hot, baby. Knowing how electrifying those lips feel, that witch must have creamed her panties.'

Stan dissolved into laughter. "You're crazy, and I love you to death." And his eyes showed just how much he loved his mate. "Tell the spell team I'm ready."

But before Will could do that, they all heard Sylver's excited shriek from the doorway. "You're back," the little boy gushed as he ran to give Will a big hug. "I missed you guys so much."

"We missed you too, buddy," Will laughed. "I thought you were in school." He was a pupil in one of the Pack's schools.

"I just got back and then sensed you." Sylver stepped out of Will's arms. Then to the shock of everyone in the room, he turned, climbed onto the 'empty seat' and hugged Stan too. "I have so much to tell you, Uncle Stan. I caught another bird. You need to see it."

Stan just stared at Sylver, speechless. "How...how's he able to..." he looked up at Will; "he can see me."

"I can see that." The look on Will's face showed how shocked and awed he was.

"Of course, I can see you, silly," Sylver laughed. "You're right here. This new bird is even more colourful than the first one. I wanted to come and show it to you wherever you were but Dad said to wait until you got back," Sylver went on excitedly, oblivious to the shocked state of the grownups in the room.

'Will, tell Stan not to let him know...' Gloria said urgently through Will's mind-link as she stood and went to her grandson who was busily talking about his bird. 'He doesn't need to know. It will only confuse him.' She reached out to run her fingers through Sylver's hair. "Honey, you can show Stan your bird when he's free, okay? It's homework time."

"Yes, yes Sylver." Stan finally snapped out of his shocked state. "In fact, why don't you show me that beautiful bird immediately after I'm done here?"

"Really?" Sylver gave a brilliant smile.

"I can't wait to see it and take some pictures with it." Stan hugged the little boy.

"Cool. I'll be waiting for you then." He got off Stan's lap and took his grandmother's hand. "Hi, Dad." He waved at a confused-looking Ryan. "Hello, Daddy." He grinned at Jeremy who couldn't seem to help his smug grin. Then he disappeared with Gloria.

"What the fuck just happened?" Philip gasped. "I thought you said the spell was airtight, Del."
