Chapter CHAPTER 66
**Kapittel 66** ***Vanessa***
**"Don't say that,** Maddie. She had always been a bitch ever since she slept with Friso," Toshiro said, crossing his arms as he sat on my side. Now I felt like a small being sandwiched by two towering guys, like a child between her parents. "She's right, chica. We shouldn't excuse rude behavior anyway," Lazarus remarked, shaking his head. He then turned to my direction, his eyes gleaming. I felt my skin jolt in surprise. "Thanks for defending me, by the way," he said, his lips curling into a smile.
I couldn't help but smile back, a warm feeling fluttering in my chest. Was this satisfaction? "Of course, we're friends. I got your back." I gave him a comforting pat on the shoulder.
"But, I think I just heard you say that Drew is someone who terrorizes the school," he asked, raising a brow. I fidgeted in my seat, afraid. I too consumed by my emotions that I was running my mouth without thinking. I forgot that the jerk was this guy's best friend!
"And he fucks around like a rabbit in perpetual heat" Toshiro added, laughing as well.
"You guys wouldn't snitch me on him right?" I asked. I have faith in our friendship!
Lazarus only shrugged, chuckling lightly. "Maybe just this once?" he put an index finger on his lips.
"Only once?!" I was bedazzled by his answer. I couldn't believe that he was going to cover me from Friso only once! But I couldn't blame him, he was closer to Friso than me, and by default, he'd prioritize his best friend over me. "Be a friend and don't scare her away, Dickarus," Sophie suddenly came over and pushed her way between me, pushing Lazarus away. "So, is it true? That you and Drew have known each other since you guys were four?" Not again.
Like opportunistic seagulls, the others came around me as well. "Hey, hey, easy with the questions," Lazarus tried to make them simmer down, but they were adamant to know more about the new information they'd learned. I found myself being in the situation I had earlier, drowned with a sea of questions and huddled by excited strangers.
Ah, the problems with running your mouth carelessly.
"Finally, you're here." A voice suddenly rang in my ears. I immediately turned and a sense of euphoria washed all over me. It was Maxim, coming over to our spot with strong strides. Like moths to a flame, half of the guys detached from the lounge to exchange fancy high-fives with him.
"I should be the one saying that," I retorted, smiling at the newcomer. "I had been here for a while."
"I've been here almost 30 minutes ago," he shot back, causing my immediate embarrassment as the people around us, especially his peers, began to tease me for being tardy.
"Sorry, man. It's my fault. I dragged her here when I saw her." Thankfully Lazarus immediately came to my rescue. I sighed in relief, I was anxious that I'd seriously be mistaken as someone who was chronically late. "And we kept her stuck here," Sophie also spoke to my rescue.
"It's no big deal." My group mate shook his head in dismissal before looking at me. "I had been wandering around this place, looking for Drew's room. Good thing I saw you, we can find him together. Let's go?" he asked, offering his hand. "Yeah. I know the way to his room anyway," I enthusiastically nodded my head, standing. If I had known that this guy was my only means of escape, I could've texted him earlier. Speaking of texting, why hadn't I thought of that?! Dang. "Sorry, guys. I'm gonna borrow our friend here for a bit," Maxim stated, asking for us both to be excused as we turned on our feet and walked away. I could hear them taunting loudly at us from behind. "Boo, Maxim. Boo!"
"Man! He's taking all the fun for himself!"
"Fuck you all." That was all Maxim responded, lifting his middle finger at them.
"Ignore them, they're just teasing us," I told him, shaking my head.
"Wow, I didn't expect that you know the way to his room," Maxim marveled as we walked down the halls. Thankfully, there weren't many people on the second floor, so it wasn't as difficult getting through the halls as it was on the first floor. I hadn't been to this place for a few years, and the place wasn't as familiar as before. There were changes in the wall furniture and the doors that used to be painted in white were now changed with ones seemingly made of oak. I couldn't deny it, this house was a great inspiration and reference for designing, I could look at this place all day and I wouldn't be running out of concepts.
"Have you been to this place before?" he asked. Even though he was behind me, I could sense that he was raising his brow. Damn, even he's intrigued by my unusual relationship with Friso.
"You can say that," I answered, a bead of sweat dripping from my forehead. I was nervous that he was going to pry since I didn't like talking about it. I should come up with an uptight response if he asks for deeper information. "Hm, no wonder." Thank God.
I glanced at him behind and saw that he was looking around. I also did that when I got to visit this place for the first time, I got to bump into a few pillars and even... broke a fine piece.
Ah! I shook my head, smacking my cheeks lightly. I shouldn't think about those embarrassing things anymore.
Black door... the only black door in this room... where the heck is it? Sometimes I forget that this house was humongous and had multiple rooms, sometimes, it'd take forever to get to the bathroom I'd thought back then that my bladder would explode first before I could find the goddamned room.
"Oh, here we are!" I felt enthusiastic when I finally caught sight of the raven-dark door.
"That's his room?" Maxim asked, standing beside my spot. I nodded, looking at him. He scratched his head and I almost laughed at his statement: "What is he, an emo?"
"Who knows?" I answered between my giggles, however...
"Ah! Mhmm..." someone's low, breathy moan reverberated behind the door.
Maxim and I automatically looked at each other, eyes so wide that our eyeballs might get off the sockets. We were equally shocked. Looking at his bewildered expression, I could tell that we were thinking about the exact same thing. Friso was having sex behind those doors.
"Fuck!" another moan resounded, waking me from my impending daze.
"Should we wait for him to finish or what?" I whispered a question to Maxim, who was now trying to regain his composure by rubbing his forehead, his other hand on his hip. He looked like a disappointed father.
He looked at me. "To be honest? I don't know," he whispered. God, I wished he said it in a loud voice so it would at least cover the sound of Friso groaning and gasping. "But it might take them a while to finish. I think it's better to interrupt them."
I was at my wit's end at this point. It was horrendous to know that Friso was doing lewd shit. What was worse was that we were getting an unsolicited premiere of it. "You know what? You're right." I couldn't help but agree with him. Maxim didn't waste his time and immediately opened the door. I was not prepared for the scene I witnessed next. The room was dark and only had a bright red lava lamp that provided nimble illumination. But it gleamed bright enough that we could see a complete view of Friso slouching on the couch, his head leaning backward on its back with his one hand holding a bong while his legs spread wide. A woman in a maid's uniform was kneeling before him, bobbing her head back and forth on his crotch as his other hand gripped tightly on her hair.
"Slow down, Morgan... ah!" he groaned, biting his lower lip. The woman didn't listen to him and instead, bounced her head faster. My disgust went over the roof at that moment.
I couldn't fathom my surprise enough that I exclaimed unconsciously: "Friso, what the fuck?!"
The maid was surprised, seeing how she instantly looked our way. Her cheeks were bulging as if her mouth was full of something. The sight of white liquid on the side of her mouth was enough to tell me what that something was. Unlike his servant, Friso remained nonchalant by my outburst and instead, he stated, "Fuck, I came too fast," then raised the bong to his face to take a smoke. Good thing the maid's head was large enough to cover his schlong because God knows what will happen if it ever got into sight. "What was that sudden yell?" he asked, rubbing his ear.
"We have visitors, Sir."
