Chapter 1175
During dinner, Sebastian and Yerick started competing again. They took turns piling food into Rosalie's bowl.
Very soon, her bowl turned into a small mountain of food. She hadn't even taken a single bite.
Rosalie didn't stop them either. She simply watched as the pile of food in her bowl kept growing higher and higher. Only when there was no space left to pile more food did the two finally stop.
Sebastian's gaze was filled with affection. "Rose, you need to eat more. Look at you; you've lost so much weight. You need more nutrition."
Even if Rosalie were plumper, he'd still adore her.
Rosalie stared at them silently. After a long pause, she pushed her bowl toward them. "Split this between the two of you and finish it."
The two men froze.
Sebastian gave an awkward smile. "Rose, what are you talking about? This is all for you. Go on, eat up."
"Do you think I'm a pig? Do you think I can eat all this? You're so focused on piling food into my bowl that you didn't even bother asking if I wanted it. Do you think I can't serve myself? My stomach is not a battleground for your competition."
Rosalie tried to remain calm, but their repeated antics pushed her patience to its limits.
"I'm sorry, Rose. I was wrong. I'll eat it," Yerick apologized quickly, transferring the mountain of food into his bowl.
Sebastian, realizing his mistake, also moved half of the food into his bowl without a word.
Justin, who had remained quiet throughout, went to the kitchen and returned with a small bowl of spaghetti. He set it down in front of Rosalie. "Here, eat."
"Thank you," Rosalie replied, then quietly began eating.
Sebastian and Yerick didn't dare act out anymore. However, both couldn't help but glance at Justin, finally realizing how strategic he was.
After dinner, the three men cleaned up the dishes.
Even though there was a dishwasher, they didn't use it.
"Justin, you really outdid yourself today. Without saying a word, you made Yerick and me look bad," Sebastian remarked coldly as he washed the dishes.
Justin, drying plates beside him, responded indifferently, "If you two didn't act like bickering kids, none of this would've happened. Don't blame me for your immaturity."
"You..." Sebastian nearly dropped the plate he was holding. Anger boiled inside him, but fearing Rosalie might come out and scold him again, he swallowed his frustration.
"Fine, you win. Let's see how long this lasts."
Yerick stood to the side, watching the tension between Sebastian and Justin with a faint, barely noticeable smirk.
Once the cleaning was done, Rosalie
came out of her room holding Steve. "Sebastian, Yerick, thank you for visiting me and having dinner with me tonight. It's getting late. You should head home."
There weren't enough rooms in the apartment, and she couldn't let them all stay.
Sebastian and Yerick exchanged a glance.
"Rose, we can stay here and keep you company. I'm worried you might feel lonely," Sebastian offered.
"I'm not alone. I have Steve. Justin is also staying here. You don't need to worry about me. Go home," Rosalie replied firmly.
Both Yerick and Sebastian's gazes fell on Justin, their expressions instantly filled with jealousy.
"Why are you looking at him like
that?" Rosalie asked bluntly. "He's staying here temporarily while he's in Blencalgo. Do you have a problem with that? If you want to stay so badly, I'll give you my room, and I'll
sleep on the couch or move out."
Rosalie had no patience left to deal with them. Speaking nicely hadn't worked, so she resorted to a stern tone.
The two men were acting like schoolchildren.
"No, Rose, that's not what I meant. It's getting late, so I'll head out now and come back tomorrow," Sebastian said, not wanting to ruin his image further.
Yerick quickly followed up, "Rose, I'll come visit you tomorrow too."
"There's no need. You don't have to keep visiting me. I have things to do as well Rosalie said firmly, her tone leaving no room for negotiation. She genuinely didn't want them showing up every day.
Though both men were unhappy about her decision, they didn't dare go against her wishes, fearing they would upset her further. Rosalie escorted them to the door. Watching Sebastian's retreating figure, she seemed to recall something and called out, "Sebastian."
"What is it?" Sebastian immediately turned around.
Rosalie hesitated. She wanted to ask him something, but the moment didn't feel right. Instead, she said, "Be careful on your way home. Don't argue or fight, even if it's for my sake."
"Yes, Rose. I promise not to argue with him. I'll be good," Yerick replied, looking as obedient as a puppy.
