Chapter 935 Pathetic
Maximilian smiled at Davies and greeted him, "Hey."
When the cook was fantasizing that Davies would teach Maximilian a lesson, he was stunned by the words. He immediately
sneered at him, "Boy, who do you think you are? How dare you say hello to Boss Davies like this?"
Maximilian smiled disdainfully, "Does this have anything to do with you?"
The cook was speechless, and continued contemptuously, "Humph, he won't know someone like you anyway."
Davies glanced at the cook coldly and asked, "What the hell do you mean? Don't you think I am qualified to know Mr. Lee?"
The cook was stunned on the spot and glanced at Davies weirdly, thinking that he had heard it wrong. He couldn't help asking
again, "Boss Davies, did you make a mistake? You called him Mr. Lee."
"Do I need to repeat what I said?" Davies's attitude became indifferent, and he scolded him.
If it was someone else, he would definitely help the cook. But it was related to Maximilian, he must be on his side.
Don't say he couldn't come to this restaurant for dinner, even if he couldn't go to all the restaurants, he wouldn't be starved to
death.
Having been reprimanded, the cook dared not speak out. Seeing that Davies respected Maximilian so much, he was even more
worried.
"Boss Davies, are you kidding me?" He still felt unbelievable. How could Boss Davies be acquainted with Maximilian?
Everything in front of him was different from what he imagined.
Upon seeing this, Davies snorted, "Stop saying that, or I will hit you."
The cook shut up immediately, and was very depressed. He originally wanted Davies to punish Maximilian to save his face.
But he was so polite to Maximilian, which was beyond belief.
All this was too exaggerated.
Davies hurriedly walked to Maximilian and asked gently, "Mr. Lee, are you okay?"
He was mainly worried about him. If something bad happened to Maximilian, he would not spare the cook.
Maximilian shook his head, and Davies breathed a sigh of relief. He praised, "I knew they couldn't hurt you."
All of a sudden, Vinnie pushed Davies.
Davies cast his eyes at him angrily, and was very puzzled. But he looked back and saw the hint of Vinnie's look.
Only then did Davies notice Evan, his expression changed drastically. She was the first of the the Four Masters in W City.
He didn't expect him to have such a master by his side. He had learned the gossip before, which was that the Four Masters was
about to attack Mr. Lee.
He subconsciously regarded her as an enemy, and made precautions. He reminded Maximilian, "Mr. Lee, you have to be careful.
She was the first of the the Four Masters."
Maximilian just wondered how Davies's expression had changed so much. After seeing it, he was helpless. It turned out that
Davies was doing it for his good.
He waved his hand and said, "Of course I know it. Don't worry, she won't act on me."
Davies smiled helplessly, not knowing what to say. He thought that Maximilian was too innocent, for Evan was really powerful.
Her treacherousness was widely known.
When Evan heard Davies talk ill of her, she confessed, "Hello, I am Maximilian's friend. Nice to meet you."
Davies was shocked.
He glanced at Evan weirdly, and said nothing.
"Hello, I am Davies."He shook hands with her in fear and excitement. Meanwhile, he whispered to Maximilian, "Mr. Lee, what is
going on?"
"I don't know. Maybe she is interested in me."Maximilian sighed.
Davies was speechless after hearing it.
But he still couldn't help but admire Maximilian, who actually conquered such a strong Evan.
Maximilian also saw through Davies's thoughts and expressed his understanding. After all, it was too unexpected, and it was
normal for him not to believe it.
The cook was stunned, feeling completely ignored.
He regretted it. If he had known that Davies had such a good relationship with Maximilian, he would not ask him to come.
Dealing with the two made him flustered.
Davies asked, "Mr. Lee, is what she said just now is true?"
"If I say no, do you believe it?" Maximilian asked in reply.
After a few seconds, Davies resolutely shook his head and said, "Mr. Lee, don't do this. If you say no, of course it is not. I believe
you."
Maximilian smiled, "That's good."
Davies had nothing to say, for he didn't expect him to say that. He assured him, "Mr. Lee, just let me deal with this matter."
Seeing Davies's eagerness, Maximilian didn't refuse, but just nodded.
Davies walked to the cook, who was panicked on seeing him and didn't expect Davies to target him.
Before Davies could speak, the cook slapped himself. He pitifully begged for mercy, "Boss Davies, please go around me. I won't
do it anymore. If I knew he was your friend, I wouldn't dare to offend him."
