Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1121

At the Austenberg gathering, the air was buzzing with excitement, everyone felt it right down to their bones, and some couldn't help but let out screams of pure adrenaline! Absolutely! No one insults Austenberg! No one!

"Flora, what were you thinking, firing a gun?" Tina shrieked in disbelief, convinced Flora had lost her mind. In front of all these people, she actually shot someone!

Flora just smirked, hands shoved casually in her jacket pockets, exuding a cool confidence. "Yeah, I fired the gun today. If anyone's got a problem with that, bring it on. I'm ready."

"I'm out, Instructor. I'm tired," Flora tossed her words over her shoulder to Ronald, leaving the crowd behind as she sauntered off without a backward glance.

Even Ronald was left in a state of stunned disbelief. Did she really just up and leave like that? But, somehow, he couldn't help but chuckle-there was something about Flora he found oddly endearing.

Initially, Ronald thought Flora was too full of herself, but now that she'd shown her extraordinary skills, he figured a little arrogance was well-earned. After all, which genius doesn't come with a bit of attitude?

"Ahem," Ronald cleared his throat, "Alright, folks, show's over. Nothing more to see here. Let's get a couple of people to take the injured guy to the medical room. It's just a leg wound, nothing major. And remember, keep your comments to yourself next time." His tone made it clear he was siding with Flora. The injured man couldn't even speak from the pain, but he was fuming.

With a wave, Ronald had him carried away.

"Tina, Flora's just too much!" Kylie fumed. "I mean, look at her! She's so full of herself. If she's bold enough to shoot someone here, what's stopping her from shooting you or me next?"

Her words made Kylie raise an eyebrow. She thought Tina was being a bit dramatic.

"Alright, enough of that," Kylie said, her voice steady. Flora was indeed tougher than she'd expected, firing that shot without a hint of hesitation, like some kind of cold-blooded hitwoman. It gave Kylie the chills.

This kind of person, left unchecked at the base, was bound to become a major headache.

After weighing her options, Kylie headed to the director's office. When she arrived, Mike was just hanging up a call. "Kylie?"

"Director," Kylie greeted as she walked in. "I wanted to discuss Flora with you."

Mike studied her for a moment, not saying a word.

"I'm sure you've heard about what happened at the square today?"

With all the buzz about the incident, there was no way Mike hadn't caught wind of it. "Yeah," Mike nodded.

"So, what's your plan for dealing with it?" Kylie asked, her voice tinged with caution.

Mike chuckled softly, casually flipping through the papers on his desk. "Flora was in a shooting class when it happened. People got too close and she accidentally shot someone. What's there to handle?"

"Mike!" Kylie's eyes widened, shocked at how openly Mike was defending Flora.

"Kylie." Mike's tone turned serious as he used her full name, clearly indicating his displeasure. "I've told you before, stay out of Flora's business. She didn't harm you, so why get involved?" FindNovel

He was getting irritated. "You, out."

"Director-"

"Don't make me repeat myself."

Mike's voice was cold and firm. He
