Love Comes To Me

Chapter 1443: I wasn't planning on counting on him.

"Brother, it's no good."

Alvaro pushed open the door to the president's office and rushed in.

Marcos looked up, "What's going on?".

"The amad Corporation has been taken!"

"What?" Marcos thought he had misheard.

"Someone has taken over amad Corporation." repeated Alvaro.

Marcos' brow furrowed sharply, "Who?"

"I asked around and the head of amad Corporation keeps his mouth shut, but by the looks of him, he must be our rival." Rawlins and Chris were the only ones targeting the Leoz Group at all times.

Marcos scoffed, "It's just a small company."

"But brother, amad Corporation has the latest technological research, and it's all in the hands of Rawlins and Chris." Alvaro felt an uneasy feeling in his chest.

The Leoz Group had been a sure asset to amad Corporation.

But now he had stepped in and bought it before the others, completely derailing the Leoz Group's current plans.

"No harm done." Marcos wasn't worried about that, "I believe our own researchers, who are also very good, will make a new breakthrough in AI research."

"Of course I believe in our researchers, but it doesn't seem right to me." Alvaro was still finding it hard to swallow, "Where the hell did they get the news that we were buying amad Corporation?"

"The people in charge of Corporation amad are not peaceful people."

Marcos' words said it all.

"Shit!" Alvaro couldn't resist bursting out, "How can you turn around and sell the company to someone else when you've already agreed to sign a contract with us?"

"No one would have a problem with the money." Marcos closed the folder in his hand and looked at Alvaro with a look of indignation, his lips curved. "Turn your anger now into motivation to deal with the Rawlins." Alvaro emitted a cold "heh", "Don't worry bro, I'll always be excited to deal with them."

Marcos raised an eyebrow, "That's good."

...

"What do you mean the amad Corporation has been bought by someone else!"

Rawlins stood up excitedly, eyes fixed on Chris silently.

Chris nodded his head, "Yeah."

"Great! That's great!" Rawlins threw his head back and burst out laughing, "Marcos, Marcos, you've had your day!"

Chris was much more subdued than excited and even had a slightly worried look on his face.

Rawlins brightened up before realizing something was wrong with him and frowned, "What's wrong?"

"I don't know which company has bought amad Corporation," Chris frowned, "and no information has come out yet."

This company, hidden in the shadows, always made him a little uncomfortable inside.

If, like them, they saw the Leoz Group as the enemy, that was fine, after all, their enemy's enemy was their friend.

But if not, they had one more enemy.

Rawlins saw what he was thinking and snorted, "Chris, are you so smart you can't see that? Doesn't the fact that that company beat amad Corporation to the punch mean it's deliberately targeting the Leoz Group?"

"Of course I can see that." Chris grimaced, "I'm just worried that it's not as simple as it seems. Maybe it's a false move by Marcos? In fact the takeover was organized by him."

"I'm not going to deny that Marcos has a deep heart, but he didn't have to do this at all." Rawlins analyzes, "The news that the Leoz Group was going to buy Corporacion amad has been kept under wraps, so if he was interested in fixing another company, he wouldn't have had to have kept it under wraps."

"And let's see. If it was Marcos who arranged it, sooner or later it will come out. If it wasn't him, we need to find out who really bought the amad Corporation!"

"I'll send someone to find out."

Rawlins thought it best to be cautious and get to the bottom of this so he could have something on his mind.

"Any word from JR?" asked Chris with a twist.

At the mention of JR, Rawlins' face shadowed for a moment, "Blythe still hasn't met with me."

Chris wondered, "You said JR hasn't even gotten a foothold in the country and Blythe is getting so much notice, is it that he doesn't want to work with anyone else and wants to go freelance?"

Rawlins shook his head, "I don't think he's setting such a high profile, but he's still waiting and seeing. He still doesn't know which company is worth working with."

"He doesn't know?" Chris laughed as if he'd heard a joke, smiling sarcastically, "If she's a person with an agenda, then she would have researched everything before going home, there's no need to still be on the fence now." "She certainly has her own ideas." For some reason, Rawlins unconsciously defended Blythe.

He would defend someone like that, when Earlene was alive.

Chris saw the sad look that passed over him and guessed he was thinking about Earlene again, so he reached forward and patted him on the shoulder, saying reassuringly, "Don't worry, Mark and the others will pay for your sister's death." Rawlins clenched his fists and gritted his back teeth, his eyes bursting with intense hatred, "I won't make it easy for the Marcoses.

Earlene, I will avenge you.

"We must find a way to work with JR." Rawlins turned his head to look at Chris with a determined look.

Now that they had lost two partners, their momentum had instantly halved, and if they managed to lasso JR, it was only a matter of time before the Leoz Group fell.

Chris nodded, "Okay, I'll get in touch with JR."

...

Meanwhile, the JR Group CEO's office.

Blythe and Winston were enjoying their first victory.

The successful acquisition of Corporacion amad was the first step in their fight against Grupo Leoz.

Next, JR would gradually eat into the Leoz Group's market.

Suddenly, Winston thought of something and said, "By the way, your brother is still not giving up and has handed us several partnership proposals, would you like to consider them?"

Blythe took a sip of wine, "For the moment, no."

For the moment, she still didn't want to meet with Rawlins, maybe she would see the Leoz Group when he agreed to work with her.

"You really don't think so?" Winston raised an eyebrow.

Blythe nodded, "If I wanted to think about it, I would have done it by now. I wouldn't have waited until today."

"I don't see your brother giving up so easily." Winston suddenly felt a little sympathy for the man. "He really loves you and he's done a lot to be able to avenge your death, except that what he's done doesn't even hurt Mark." Blythe lowered her eyes to the wine in her hands and said in a light tone, "I wasn't going to count on him either."

"You'll still have to resume your Earlene identity when we liquidate the Leoz Group, or your brother will truly live with regrets for the rest of his life." said Winston.

Blythe set her glass down on the table and looked up at the sky outside the floor-to-ceiling window, a face with delicate makeup without a hint of expression. "Look again."

Winston shot her a look, with the clarity that she had her own plans and said nothing more.
