Chapter 1624: Rather Kill the Wrong
Hector no longer hesitated and quickly dodged away.
By the time the two men rushed out, the only person left in the corridor was a waiter who was apologizing in fear and trepidation.
"Maybe just passing by?" One man came to this conclusion after scouting around and not finding any suspicious characters.
Another man, obviously more cautious, shook his head and said in a cold voice: "No matter what, this person must be found, this is a very serious matter, if it is discovered, you know the consequences." Although he did not say the words very directly, but the other man immediately understood over, look austere, nod forcefully, "I will go to check now."
Hector left the door of the box and returned to where Eloise was, "Eloise, it's about time, let's go back."
Eloise felt something strange, his expression seemed a bit serious, different from when he left.
Eloise subconsciously felt that something had happened, so she got up and followed him to leave.
Only after walking out of the coffee shop did she ask, "Did something happen?"
Hector didn't want to hide such an important matter from her, "There are two Persian-speaking people who might want to kidnap Harvey."
At that, Eloise's face sank a bit, and her eyebrows knitted deeply.
She did not expect that there could be this.
She pursed her lips and asked, "So what do we do now, do we need to contact Harvey?"
Hector held her shoulder with one hand, "Don't worry about it, I'll find a way to fix it."
Harvey is not only an important person in their project with Cassidy, but more importantly, he is a leading figure in the computer world, a mainstay of domestic computing. No matter what, he couldn't afford to have something happen to him.
Eloise's heart hangs slightly, this is certainly not simple, Hector and her good to live a stable life, because of this matter, do not know what to set off the waves again. However, she knew that even if not for business matters, but also for the greater good.
After a moment of silence, she still nodded, "You must be safe and safe."
Hector's hand holding her shoulder was slightly firm, silently giving her relief and smiling, "This is something that can be left to York, after all, this is Y."
In Y country, York is not only a businessman, but also a nobleman, his power cannot be underestimated.
Eloise understood what he meant, "Okay."
After sending Eloise back to the hotel, Hector went out to find York to discuss the matter.
Eloise opened her laptop, but could not work at ease.
The person who wants to kidnap Harvey is definitely not a small person, and this matter, I am afraid, will not be a small thing.
Although Hector said he could let York handle it, but she was still a little nervous.
She took a deep breath and tried to hold down the anxiety in her heart.
...
In the evening, after Hector and York finished talking, they drove back to the hotel.
Halfway through the drive, he noticed a car following him closely, no matter how he turned or accelerated, the other side followed him.
Obviously, he was being followed.
His face sank slightly, after seeing the car in front of him, he stepped on the gas pedal, intending to shake these cars, unexpectedly, a car suddenly came straight towards him from other directions, forcing him to brake urgently. Soon, the cars that had been following him also pulled over and came down with a dozen or so people, surrounding his car.
Hector's eyes were cold and stern, and he didn't panic at all, pushing open the car door and getting out.
He frowned and swept a glance at the dozen people, and quickly identified that two of them were the people in the cafe room in the afternoon.
These people saw him get out of the car and went straight for Hector, each move was a deadly one, as if they couldn't wait to finish him off.
Hector was able to take the strokes with ease, but there were too many of them, and when he saw that he was struggling, several cars came up at speed and pulled over, and a wave of people got out, with him firmly in the center, against the group of foreigners.
The group of foreigners was clearly outmatched, and within a few moments, they were wailing all over the place, while Hector's side was intact.
The leader of the group got up and said to Hector in English, "You were the one who was at the coffee shop this afternoon, weren't you?" Hector frowned, this group of people can plan the kidnapping case, and can find him in such a short time, seems to be quite capable.
However, he did not show it on his face, he just looked over indifferently, "What this afternoon? Who are you people and why are you stopping me?"
At his words, the chief sized him up suspiciously as another man approached and said in Persian, "I don't think he necessarily understands, he might just happen to be passing by, in that case, we might spook the snake and it won't do any good for the plan."
The chief frowned, obviously disagreeing with him, "It's better to kill than to let go."
These words they did not deliberately avoid Hector, but Hector face did not move, as if what they said, has nothing to do with him.
The leader took a glance at Hector's side of the battle, and with an estimate in his heart, said unhappily, "Retreat first." Soon, the group quickly retreated into the night.
Only when the bodyguard saw this did he let his guard down and went up to ask, "Young master, are you injured?" Hector shook his head, "Nothing, but this group of people will not stop, you keep a close eye on them."
These people, usually he would not put in the eye, but this time Eloise followed, he did not want to let her get any fright.
