Love Comes To Me

Chapter 677: Is it really someone you don't know

And at that end, the police took everyone back to the police station.

In an instant, the space in the police station became narrow.

There was a lot of noise.

The owners of the vehicles involved, although not the driver of the truck, were also very pale.

It was because of the collision that caused such a big traffic accident.

It is not yet known what the penalty will be.

Nervous and trembling in the police station.

"Have a drink of water and calm down first."

A police officer came over and comforted them.

One of the timid ones came out and asked, "Comrade police, will I, will I go to jail?"

After calming them down, the officer said with a kind face, "Don't be nervous, things are not clear yet, calm down, let's take a statement first."

Shortly afterwards, the police station side started asking for details of the crash.

"Tell me the parts you remember, the more detail the better."

"I'm not really sure, I was driving normally on the road when I heard the piercing sound of a siren coming from the front, then later the car in front of me lost control and swerved sideways towards me..." Someone's lips trembled as they recalled the details.

The police officer gave a note of each one.

A phone call was made to the police station midway through the day.

It was a call from the hospital.

It says that Agnes died during resuscitation while being taken to hospital.

The driver of the large truck was seriously injured and is being treated for his injuries.

When a murder was involved, the faces of those at the police station instantly became serious.

"What else, does anyone know the details of how the truck got out of control, any witnesses?"

The police also picked up the pace a bit, questioning those involved.

"I think it's because the nun... girl ran a red light."

Someone spoke uncertainly.

This can also be known from a surveillance camera, and the police are looking for details.

But when questioned in depth, the man couldn't say anything.

They were all more or less greatly stimulated by what had happened and had not yet fully recovered from it.

The atmosphere at the police station became solemn, with the intention of contacting more people to come forward with information.

At the other end, Eloise was oblivious to all this and was called to the hospital after Agnes had escaped.

She was accompanied by several strange men who nervously asked if she was all right.

Eloise, somewhat bewildered, asked who they were and they stopped talking again.

Just rushed her to the hospital and got a nurse to treat her wounds.

Having just come back from the dead, Eloise couldn't be bothered to pay much attention to where these people were going.

Here, the nurse is treating the wound on her knee.

"OK, it's taken care of, luckily it's just a scratch, just be careful not to touch the water to the wound, but I heard you were sent here after a car accident.

Just in case, it's better for you to wait for the results of all the other tests to come out before you go. There was a patient like you before. He was hit and nothing happened at the time, so he didn't get checked and was found bleeding to death when he got home..."

Eloise was too distracted to listen to the nurse.

She was still thinking about who the woman who had pushed her was.

Eloise suddenly remembered this and raised her eyes to ask the nurse, "By the way, nurse lady, where is the man who saved my life?"

The nurse looked at her with a confused expression.

"I think it was with me, a couple of guys, tall, ring any bells?"

Eloise tries to help the nurse remember.

"Ah, you mean the people who brought you here, they just left, said it was nothing serious, then they left while they were on the phone, didn't know where they were going, told us to just look after you." Eloise sniffed and froze for a moment, an afterthought.

They looked as if they knew her.

But the faces were indeed raw again, and for a moment, her mood became even more confused.

It always felt like she had fallen into a treacherous whirlpool, with the feeling of intrigue looming around her.

She whitened her fingertips, thought for a moment and dialled Rowson's number.

Rowson was in the lab doing experiments and was a little surprised to get a call from Eloise.

With a smile on his lips, he asked softly, "Hey Eloise, what's up?"

"Rowson, can you come and pick me up from the hospital?"

Eloise moved her ankle with a pained look on her face.

The fall was at the knee, and it still hurt quite a bit when she moved, and she walked with a limp.

And having just been one step away from death, she was scared to death and her feet were weak when she thought about it.

The weak tone of voice at once caused Rowson's blush to dissolve into the corners of his mouth.

He hurriedly put down the bottle of reagents in his hand and took off his white coat in a feverish rush.

Looking flustered, she asked Eloise, "What happened and why are you in hospital?"

Eloise rubbed her foot and whispered, "On the road, there was a woman, who pushed me and almost got hit by a car, but someone saved me, so it's just a bruise..."

Eloise's light-hearted tone was alarming to Rowson's ears.

The temples popped.

Rowson's face paled and panic set in.

"Which hospital are you in, I'll be right there."

Eloise gave the name of the hospital and Rowson grabbed the door.

Twenty minutes later, he arrived at the hospital.

As soon as he saw Eloise, Rowson grabbed her by the shoulders and asked nervously, "Is everything all right? Let me see the wound."

Eloise shook her head, "No, it's just a bit of a shock, don't be nervous."

Rowson looked up then, thinking about what Eloise had described on the phone, and frowned as he asked, "You said on the phone that a woman had pushed you? What was that about?" Eloise's eyes sank slightly when she heard Rowson ask about the person who had pushed her.

"I don't know, it was like someone I didn't know, I was standing on the side of the road and she pushed me from behind and when I reacted, she ran away."

Eloise remarked nervously.

Rowson listened, looking a few shades more grave.

"Ran away? Then it was an intentional push, right? Think again, is it really someone you don't know?"

He spoke in a hushed voice.

A cloud of suspicion rose to the surface.

Eloise was silent, her eyes dropping as she pondered whether she had seen that face or not.

It was clearly unfamiliar, but there was a sense of déjà vu in those eyes.

"Clang!"

The violent sound of the door opening interrupted Eloise's thoughts.

Only to see Hector barge in with an anxious look on his face.

About running, beads of sweat dangled from his handsome face.

Dark eyes fluttered at the sight of Rowson there.

Hector swept past him and frowned at Eloise, "Eloise, how are you, are you badly hurt?"

"How do you know that?"

Instead of answering, Eloise looked at Hector in surprise.

Rowson only found out about it when she called, so where did Hector get the information?

"My men are tracking the woman who pushed you."

Hector averted his eyes a little and subtly answered the question.
