Mated To Big Brother-in-law

Chapter 0006

Chapter 6

I cursed my fate to make me stand in that situation where death was my only way.

If he rejected me, I would die anyway.

I closed my eyes and waited to embrace my death.

At that time, he removed his hand from my neck. I felt like a rush of air pushed to my mouth as I breathed.

I started to cough and fell to the ground.

I carefully raised my gaze to look at him.

He was glaring at me.

"You are lucky that you are my Gamma's sister." He said.

Did my brother tell him? Or Bruce? How did he get to know about it?

Then I remembered, when I fainted yesterday, my brother took me home. He might get to know at that time.

I was taking long breaths. I looked around to find water but was unable to get a glass of water.

He bent down and grabbed my jaw.

"You dared to destroy what my father earned all his life."

I stared at him in a helpless manner. "I-I had no other choice but to go to y-you."

I tried to make him understand that it was not in my hand.

His grip almost broke my jaw. He tilted his head.

"That's why you planned to come in front of the whole guests of my pack. Because you thought it was the right time to conquer everything." "N-No."

"You could have waited. You could have come to me, not in front of everyone. But you chose the opposite. By claiming the mate thing, you grabbed everyone's attention so that I can not reject you."

I stared at him. Did he mean he would have rejected me if I had not said that in front of others? What would have happened after that?

'I will die if he rejects me, right?' I thought.

I nodded at him. "R-Reject m-me."

He loosened his grip. He looked stunned by my words. But then his eyes turned dark.

"What a pretentious woman you are! You would have never entered the hall in the first place if you truly wanted a rejection."

He released his grip on my jaw and stood up. He proceeded to the door and opened it.

"I don't want you either. Just reject me." I spoke out. I did not want to get more humiliation.

He turned his head to me. His glare caused me to lower my head. There was no way I could avoid completely submitting to him. "Alpha"

I heard my brother's voice.

I sprang to my feet and sprinted towards the door, almost colliding with Bryan's body, who was still standing at the door.

"Take your sister and leave my pack house." Bryan told Abraham with a cold tone.

Abraham looked stunned. "I could not understand, Alpha."

"I don't want to see her face. And you are fired from your job."

Abraham did not have the opportunity to utter a single word. Bryan walked to the stairs and went downstairs.

I was horrified. I looked at Abraham.

"Brother."

"W-What did you do? Why is he so angry? Why are you in his room? I told you to stay in the hall."

I could see he was taken aback by the statement.

I told him the truth. I told him about what Bruce had done. I told him that Bryan was my mate. I told him everything.

He was shocked. "What are you saying?"

"Y-Yes, brother."

He held my hands and took me downstairs.

Mila was seated on the couch with Uncle Harry and Aunt Juliana alongside her. She was crying.

I felt really bad for her. She may love Bryan a lot. I turned my gaze away from them.

"Where is Alpha?" Abraham asked them.

"Just now, he left. But what did he say?" Uncle Harry asked while glancing at me.

"Nothing." Abraham replied and was about to leave with me when Mila spoke out, "Stop."

We came to a halt and turned our attention to her.

She got to her feet and walked toward me.

"You can't have him. He is mine. He loves me. I don't care about the rules. Only I can be Alpha Bryan's Luna. Cheap girls like you can't be his Luna." "Control your tongue before speaking. She is my sister." Abraham warned as he looked at her.

I was not surprised. To protect me, he could argue with anyone.

He dragged me outside and left my hand.

He ran his fingers through his hair. It showed that he was worried and anxious.

I did not know what to say to him. Because of me, he lost his position.

When we returned home, my brother told my mother about his losing position. We could not say anything to her about my mate thing.

It would be more difficult for us to handle.

My mother was shocked after hearing about my brother. It was my brother's dream. He had worked hard for so long just to become the gamma of this pack. "MOM!"

My mother fell to the ground as she clutched her clothes in her chest.

We rushed to the pack hospital. She got admitted.

"She had a mild stroke. Please don't tell her about any problem. Her health is critical. She was already having heart problems. Now, it attacked her heart mildly. But she can not endure anything again." I looked at my brother. Did I hear right? My mother was having heart problems? When? Why didn't she inform us of it?

The doctor said, "You can meet her. But only one person at a time," and walked away.

I told my brother to go first.

I was outside. I was able to hear them. I sobbed as I observed them conversing.

"Why did he fire you? It was your dream. You worked so hard for it. I think there must be a misunderstanding, Abraham."

It was not just his position but his dream. It was his prestige in the pack.

He lowered his head. "I will try to talk to him, Mom."

"You are his Gamma. I heard officials are like friends to Alpha. Try to settle the things with him."

My brother did not tell her about me. My mother would die if she heard that.

I turned around, wiping away the tears. I could not allow this to occur. It was all my fault that things were going wrong.

After leaving the pack hospital, I took a cab to go to the pack house.

When I reached the pack house, it was late at night. The whole pack house area was empty, as if all the guests had left.

I tried to enter the house, but the guards stopped me.

"I need to talk to Alpha."

"We can't let you enter."

"I am Gamma Abraham's sister. Tell him I need to talk to him."

After going inside for a minute, one of them returned outside.

"He said Gamma Abraham and his family are not allowed in the pack house. You can go back."

I refuse to go. I stood outside. I requested the guards, and I almost begged them.

But they said it was Alpha's order, so I would have to leave.

"Tell him that I will not leave until he talks to me."

I decided to stand outside the pack house.

A lot of time passed, but there was no sight of Alpha Bryan.

I felt my legs wobble. I forgot to take my phone with me. Mother and Abraham must be worried for me.

Four hours had passed since I had stood there.

I could not feel my legs anymore. They were numb.

The sun was rising at the moment.

From outside, my gaze went to the second story.

I gasped when I saw Bryan standing at the window.

He was staring at me.

At that time, a guard hurried over to me and said,

"Alpha is calling you inside."
