Chapter Divorce Long 144
Chapter 144
However, when he remembered that she had been injured while saving Franklin, he didn't know what to
say.
Seeing Rex's concerned look, Logan, noticing his distinguished demeanor, guessed that he wasn't an ordinary person and asked, "Julie, who is this?"
Julia didn't miss the flash of sympathy in Rex's eyes.
She replied in a calm tone, "Rex Hardin, Mr. Hardin."
Then, she introduced Rex to her father: "This is my father, Logan Brown."
Upon learning that Logan was Julia's father, Rex politely said, "Ah, Mr. Brown, it's a pleasure."
After the pleasantries, Julia spoke, "Mr. Hardin, are you here at Cole to discuss a partnership with Mr. Gray?"
"Yes, and Miss Brown and Mr. Brown are here for the same reason?"
Yes." Julia said, "Did you meet Mr. Gray?"
"No, Mr. Gray went on a business trip," Rex replied.
Logan smiled when he heard this, "So Mr. Gray really went on a business trip. I thought he was just making an excuse not to meet us."
Rex paused when he heard this and then asked, "Didn't they invite you up?"
Julia replied, "No, Mr. Gray's secretary said Mr. Gray was away, so they asked us to leave."
Rex's expression darkened.
Julia noticed this and asked, "What's wrong? Is something wrong?"
Rex said coldly, "Mr. Gray is indeed not here, but the person I spoke with earlier was Miss Miller, whom
we met at Wilson Tech before.
She said that since Mr. Gray is away, she is handling all matters at Cole and can represent Cole in negotiating cooperation with me."

Regardless of whether Maggie could truly represent Cole, the fact that she had met with him while intentionally avoiding Julia was clearly aimed at her! Logan was taken aback.
Julia paused, then responded indifferently, "Is that so?"
She turned to her father and said, "Since that's the case, Dad, let's go back."
Logan, noticing how Maggie had treated him and Julia, pursed his lips but had no choice but to say, "Alright."
Rex frowned, about to speak when Maggie came downstairs.
When she saw the three of them, she paused for a moment.
Before she could speak, Julia's phone suddenly rang.
She answered the call, "Frank?"
Julia smiled and said, "You're here? Alright, I'm coming out now."
Rex: "Has Mr. Wilson arrived?"
"Yes." When mentioning Franklin, Julia's tone softened with a touch of tenderness. "My wound hasn't fully healed yet. Frank is too worried, so he came over to pick me up."
As she spoke, she didn't even look at Maggie.
Afterward, she added, "Mr. Hardin, we're leaving now. See you next time."
Rex had originally planned to question Maggie and demand justice for Julia. But seeing that Julia couldn't even be bothered to look at Maggie, he felt that she was too disdainful of him to bother with someone like her.
Julia's proud and straightforward demeanor only made Rex admire her more. He found her to be unique, and captivating.
In an instant, he felt that it was pointless to continue talking with Maggie. He felt that Maggie wasn't
worthy.
Thinking of this, he also developed a genuine distaste for Maggie.

He turned to Julia and said, "I leave too. Let's go together."
Jalia nodded, and with Logan, they left without looking back.
Julia didn't glance at Maggie once before leaving, but before they were completely out the door, Rex turned back and gave her a cold stare.
Seeing his gaze, Maggie didn't need to think to know what it meant.
Men who disliked her because of Julia were hardly new to her, and Rex wasn't the first.
Thinking of this, Maggie coldly returned his gaze and quickly looked away, treating them as though they were air, walking almost parallel to them towards the door. Rex Jifeng froze.
He hadn't expected his thoughts to be seen through so easily, and not only was she not ashamed, she was even audacious enough to act so unapologetic.
He sneered, thinking he was seeing something new.
Indeed, in a big forest, there are all kinds of birds.
Seeing that Maggie didn't avoid them and left together, Logan raised his eyebrows in surprise and frowned slightly.
Julia's steps faltered for a moment, then she continued walking as if she hadn't noticed her.
In the parking lot, Franklin got out of the car and was leaning against the door waiting for Julia.
When he saw Maggie and Julia walking out together, he paused for a moment. But soon, his expression returned to calm. Maggie saw Franklin too.
She didn't glance sideways and walked straight towards where her car was parked.
Once in the car, after adjusting the navigation, Maggie started driving out.
Franklin and the others hadn't left yet.
As the car moved forward, she happened to see Franklin gently and attentively open the car door for Judia.

On Saturday, there was a banquet to attend, so Johnny returned on Friday afternoon.
After hearing about Rex's incident, he laughed coldly and said, "In that case, we don't need to cooperate with him anymore. It's better to avoid seeing him and getting annoyed." Maggie thought the same.
There were plenty of good cooperation partners, and she didn't need to lower herself.
On Saturday afternoon.
Maggie was organizing the dress she was going to wear for the evening when her phone rang.
It was a call from Isabella.
She had not answered his calls before, thinking that he would reduce the frequency of calling her after
this.
However, he still called her two or three times this week.
But she didn't pick up again this time either.
Seeing that she didn't answer, Isabella didn't seem as disappointed as before.
Previously, when her mother had ignored her calls so many times, she had been sad and didn't want to call her anymore. But her father told her that if she wanted to call, her mother would eventually answer the phone one day. So, when she wanted to talk to her mother, even knowing that she might not answer, she still called her
first.
