My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 286

"My Liege, I've confirmed it. The Bloodveil Orchid is within the McCall family villa, located in Grayvale," a Hell Guard said respectfully to Dustin at the security booth outside the Creative Arts Corporation building. Yesterday's tension at the Riley family villa ended on an oddly subdued note. Though Shawna remained suspicious, she chose not to press the matter.

Dustin had since resumed his unassuming role as a security guard.

The Bloodveil Orchid was an extra ingredient needed to make the antidote to Irene's poisoning.

"The McCall family keeps a low profile, but they're rumored to have ties with a top figure in Central Harbor...

"Jonathan McCall has been bedridden for years and relies on rare and potent herbs to cling to life. The Bloodveil Orchid is such a rare herb that is brought in specifically for his treatment." Dustin frowned.

Someone dependent on the flower to sustain his life would hardly give it up. "Regardless, the flower must be secured," Dustin said in a cold and calm voice.

The Bloodveil Orchid was exceptionally rare and difficult to locate, even for Hell Hall.

"My Liege, shall we infiltrate their villa and retrieve it stealthily?" the Hell Guard asked.

"Do you take the Hell Hall for common thieves?" Dustin's tone turned sharp.

"I will pay them a visit personally."

Diplomacy first, and force, only if necessary. Dustin was no paragon of righteousness. For him, results were all that mattered.

He dismissed the Hell Guard with a wave and went to request leave from Shawna.

"Leave? Sure, go ahead," Shawna said simply.

With that, Dustin made his way to the McCall family villa.

The McCall family villa stood on the eastern edge of Grayvale. It was a grand and ancient villa brimming with history.

As Dustin approached, he found the villa's entrance bustling with activity.

The entrance was surrounded by a crowd of wealthy individuals. Each announced their arrival with flair and importance.

"Yale Miller from Grayvale, accompanied by the Grayvale's renowned Doctor Wren!"

"Oliver Crane from Easton, here with Doctor Hill, the most acclaimed physician in the region!"

"Kenny Hanks from Golden Harbor..."

One by one, well-dressed heirs of prominent families stepped forward. Each of them was accompanied by a famous doctor, and they all claimed to be here to treat Jonathan. Dustin raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"What's all this commotion?" he asked a bystander.

"You haven't heard?" The man

looked surprised. "Jonathan McCall

has been critically ill for years. Despite consulting countless renowned physicians, no one has been able to identify the root cause of his ailment. Recently, his condition has taken a turn for the worse.

"Miss Allison, the family's eldest daughter, sent out an open call for help. She's promised to marry anyone, who can cure her

grandfather. Naturally, all these heirs have shown up with hired experts and are eager to win her hand."

Dustin nodded in understanding.

So, the real catch was the famed Miss Allison McCall herself.

"Is she really that beautiful?" he asked. He was intrigued.

"You don't know? Miss Allison's

beauty is tegendary-not just here in Grayvale but across the entire western region! Some even call her an angel descended to earth

Dustin gave a slight nod, then stepped forward toward the gate.

"I'm Fustin Dox from Grayvale. I have some experience in medicine, and I'm here to offer my assistance to the McCall family," he said with a polite bow. Using his real name might attract too much attention, so he opted for a pseudonym.

"Fustin Dox?" The man at the gate who was recording all the names frowned.

The others who had come forward so far were all heirs to powerful families and esteemed medical practitioners with long-standing accolades.

But "Fustin Dox"? The name did not ring any bells.

"Where did you train? Which hospital or institute do you represent? Do you have any accolades or credentials to your name?" the gatekeeper demanded sternly. "If you're just some nobody here to cause trouble, leave now, or you'll regret it."

Dustin's face darkened.
