Rosalynn and Brian exchanged a look, then both turned to Sanford, seeking his opinion on the matter.

Sanford maintained an indifferent demeanor.

Maggie glanced at Shari and inquired, “Rosalynn, who is she?”

Before Rosalynn could respond, Shari offered a slight smile to Maggie and introduced herself.

“Hello, I am Shari Dixon.

I’m a doctor.

In Boblyae, it was Mr.

Robles and his team who rescued me.”

“She has been taking care of Sanford these past few days,” Rosalynn added.

Maggie nodded in understanding and responded simply with an “Oh,” opting not to say more.

Seeing that Sanford consented, Brian directed the medical staff to help him and the bodyguard onto the ambulance.

Shari and Maggie boarded the ambulance as well.

Rosalynn and Brian rode with Barlow and Karina in their car, following the ambulance to the hospital.

After settling Sanford into a VIP ward, Brian arranged for someone to purchase the necessary hospital supplies for him.

Once everything was in place, Sanford addressed everyone.

“Alright, you all can go back now.”

Maggie chimed in, “Rosalynn, since you’re pregnant, head back and get some rest.

I’ll handle things here.”

Rosalynn nodded in agreement.

“Okay.

I will return tomorrow to perform acupuncture on Sanford.”

“Alright.”

“We’ll also leave and come back to see you tomorrow,” Barlow said, signaling their departure.

Sanford nodded, his voice carrying a hint of concern.

“If you have a lot on your plate, don’t trouble yourself to come visit me.”

Barlow nodded slightly in acknowledgment and left the hospital room with Karina.

“I’LL see you off,” Maggie offered, accompanying Rosalynn and the others out of the ward.

Rosalynn hugged Maggie warmly, then waved goodbye as they departed.

Maggie watched them walk away before returning to the ward.

As she entered, she noticed Shari had just brought in some hot water to clean Sanford’s body.

A moment of discomfort flashed through Maggie as she saw Shari beginning to unbutton Sanford’s patient gown.

“Um, Shari, what are you doing?”

“I’m cleaning Mr.

Robles’ body,” Shari explained matter-of-factly.
