Chapter 628
Chapter 628
Upon hearing Felix's command, the henchmen charged at Fressia like hungry wolves.
They had never seen a beauty like her before and were naturally impatient to seize the opportunity. Although they had to wait for Felix to have his turn first, the henchmen felt they could take advantage of the situation beforehand.
Fressia trembled with fear and was unsure of what to do. Sebastian reached out and pulled her into his arms. He stood there with a blank expression.
The villagers couldn't bear to watch anymore. They knew she was going to be taken advantage of by the henchmen. Though it was a distressing thought, they were powerless to help and could only watch in despair.
The henchmen approached Fressia and were about to grab her when Sebastian took action. With a wave of his hand, a burst of sword energy shot out. It sliced through the henchmen's necks in an instant.
The speed was so fast that it appeared as a flash of white light. The henchmen collapsed on the ground, and their heads rolled away. Blood gushed from their severed necks and quickly pooled on the ground.
Everyone was stunned by the sight. Their faces were frozen in shock as if they had seen a ghost.
Suddenly, a gentle breeze swept through. The strong scent of blood sent chills down on everyone's spines and made them break into cold sweat.
Even Felix, who was half-undressed, was stunned and horrified by the scene.
"Don't worry." Sebastian gently patted Fressia's back to calm her. Then, he turned his gaze to Felix.
It was only then that Felix snapped out of his shock. "Grandmaster? You're a grandmaster? How is this possible?" His legs were trembling with fear.
As a warrior, he knew that only a grandmaster could unleash attacks with their energy. He also understood how terrifying a grandmaster could be. Someone like Felix was merely an insignificant ant in a grandmaster's eyes.
Sebastian said coldly, "I don't want to cause trouble, but you forced me to kill. Are you satisfied now?"
Felix dropped to his knees with a thud. "Please forgive me. I realize my mistake. Please have mercy." At that moment, he was convinced that Sebastian was telling the truth earlier.
Such a young grandmaster could easily qualify as an elite disciple of the Netherworld Sect, not just an apprentice.
"Mistakes come with a cost. You should end your own life to atone for your sins," Sebastian
said flatly.
"No. I don't want to die. Please spare me," Felix begged desperately. He had no intention of fighting back. As a mere warrior, he knew defying a grandmaster would be futile.
"You've done too many evil deeds to be forgiven. Death is what you deserve. Since you lack the courage to end your own life, I'll do it for you," Sebastian said coldly.
"No, you can't kill me. I'm a baron! If you kill me, the court will hold you accountable," Felix protested.
Jenna said, "Sebastian, Lord Baldwin is right. He's from the court. Maybe you should let him go."
Sebastian sneered. "He's just a baron, and his status means nothing to me. I'll kill him if I feel like it. Let's see who dares to speak up for him." Following that, he unleashed a sword energy that severed Felix's head.
"Lord Baldwin is dead. Run!" The villagers were terrified.
Regardless of the baron rank in the hierarchy of nobility, Felix was still a noble. His death would likely provoke a response from the higher-ups. The villagers knew that staying could put them at risk of being implicated.
Jenna was shocked. "Sebastian, you're too impulsive. This is a huge mess. What are we going to do now?"
Both Jenna and Fressia looked worried.
