Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 919

Back at home, when the "enemy" sisters came face to face, Anya tried her best to blend into the background. Molly pointed towards the backyard, "Meet at the usual spot."

Mia glanced at Anya, who was playing with her son and not paying attention, "Anya, you come out too."

Andre and Chad exchanged a knowing look, a single glance said it all, and both men smiled like they were in on some secret joke.

Henry, feeling neglected because mom didn't hug him right away, and neither Auntie nor Sister Anya played with him, pouted and clenched his little fists, starting to cry again.

Andre sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose as if trying to ward off a headache.

In the backyard, the three women sat in a tense triangle. Both sisters were fuming, while Anya looked like she'd rather be anywhere else.

"Mia, we've been through so much together. Sure, our friendship might spring a leak here and there, but it shouldn't sink. I can't believe you'd betray me."

Mia fired back, "Who betrayed whom first? If you hadn't betrayed me, how would my husband find out about my photo with Silas White?"

"Your photo with Silas White has nothing to do with my 'Daily Small Talks!" Molly protested, feeling wronged. "I was just minding my own business, venting about Chad not buying me pork knuckles, and then bam, Chad catches me red-handed."

Mia retorted, "And right after I finished hanging laundry, humming a little tune, my husband confronted me about my photo with another man and making a heart sign. If it wasn't you, then who?"

The sisters stared at each other, baffled, their stories a complete mismatch.

Their eyes eventually landed on Anya, who looked guilty. Anya gulped and asked, "Auntie, do you know about the butterfly effect?"

She hadn't expected things to blow up like this.

"I just told Uncle that Auntie spent over a grand chasing some male celebrity," Anya confessed.

Mia turned to Molly, "And then you told Andre about my photo because of that?"

Molly replied, "So you set me up and told Chad about my 'Daily Small Talks"?"

"I didn't," Mia insisted.

"Neither did I," Molly added.

The sisters were at a dead end again.

Anya was completely lost in the chaos of accusations.

Mia slammed her hand on the table, "Let's start from the beginning; there's no way we can't figure this out."

Meanwhile, Chad and Andre stood at the window, watching the unfolding drama in the backyard, their eyes fixed on their wives.

Seeing Mia's confused frown, Andre felt a sense of satisfaction. Watching Molly's puzzled expression, Officer Chad was amused.

Only little Henry, held by his dad, peered curiously into the yard, observing the arguing women with equal interest.

Starting with Anya's explanation, "I tried pulling a Chad on Auntie, got caught by Uncle, and it all blew up. Later, I went to Chad for protection." Mia said, "I was in class all day, only called my son at lunch, and didn't see my husband until evening. How could I leak anything?"

Molly shrugged, "I did nothing all day, just slacked off at work. I didn't do anything."

Mia asked, "Molly, when did Chad find out about your small account?"

"Around seven, after he got off work."

Anya raised her hand, "I swear, I didn't know. I didn't even know Auntie had a small account. I just leaked it."

Now, both women turned to Mia, "But I wouldn't. Molly's account has my secrets too. Why would I shoot myself in the foot?" Initially, they assumed a traitor was among them and focused on finding this traitor. Eventually, they concluded it was Leo!

So, when Leo got a call from Molly demanding answers, he snapped "Switch brains with pigs, at least pigs know to turn after hitting a wall. You three keep banging your heads against it!" en FindNovel

Molly smiled, "Leo, lost your GPS? Don't know your place? Mia, cut him off."

Mia slammed the table and yelled at the phone, "Stop the nonsense, was it you?"

"Damn, can't my uncle investigate? Don't underestimate Noah; he's my uncle's eyes and ears. He found out about Mia's secret identity, so investigating Molly's account was a breeze." Leo added, "I don't get how you guys, with your IQ, are friends with me."

Before Molly could respond, Leo hung up.

The sisters sat in stunned silence, while Anya bit her lip, now even more curious: How does Uncle have underworld ties? What is The Silent Ring? What secrets are on Auntie's account?

Andre, watching from outside, chuckled, "Looks like they called Leo."

Chad nodded, "Seems they got their answer from him."

Henry, still in his dad's arms, curiously looked from uncle to dad, wondering why he didn't understand a thing.

Mia sighed, "Molly, why'd you post so much? You left a trail of evidence. My husband was furious last night."

"Yours was mad? Chad was livid! Seven years of rants and complaints exposed because of you. You even dredged up old news about my school crush, stirring the pot."

"Oh, you were so kind to tell my husband I wanted a divorce but didn't have the guts to say it. Plus, you're pregnant and have a shield I've got nothing. I fattened Henry up hoping he'd protect me, but he just roffs over and sleeps."

As the sisters bickered, Anya hesitantly asked, "Auntie, did you tell my Chad I kiss the baby all day and fight to sleep with him at night?"

Mia paused, realizing she'd been too caught up in anger at Leo and missed Anya's slip.

"She's guilty, Mia spilled the beans."

Finally, the truth was out. Mia halted the argument, "So who's the winner here?"

Silence fell as they all pondered.

Their gazes shifted back to the window, landing on the two men and the little one watching them.

Andre smirked, "They've figured it out."

Chad chuckled, "Took them long enough."

Henry, the innocent bystander, remained utterly confused. What's happening? Is the drama over?
