Chapter 7-2

I immediately let go of his hand and without turning my gaze to him, "We aren’t married yet, so keep your distance." He muttered and began to walk away. He was such a jerk and I hated him so much. I trailed behind him until we got to the wedding gown section and honestly, I let out a gasp when I saw them,

"I’ll take this one."

Although it was a long plain gown with practically no designs other than some light pink bows at the waist part and marbles at the sides, I still loved it. It was the first to catch my attention,

"This? This is...."

"Pack it up immediately, no questions! His cold voice made me flinch.

About 20 minutes later, we were set to go. I stepped into the car first while he followed afterwards,

"So what now?" I questioned when the silence was rather becoming too annoying, and without staring at me, he responded,

"We’re heading to my pack and you’d have to be on your best behavior, little wolf."

I wasn’t supposed to let anyone know about my past, or who I truly was, and most importantly, I was to stay away from his family. Being too close to the Alpha king and Luna Queen was prohibited, and I wondered why any son in his right mind would want his wife to stay away from his family.

As soon as I was done reading what was written on the papers that had been handed to me, I heaved deeply,

Take it easy, Amelia, you just have to follow the rules for a year, get the money and leave this jerk. I told myself,

"We’re here." Daniel uttered.

I took another deep breath in and stepped out of the car after him,

It was late already and since I was tired, all I really needed was to get some rest and wake up tomorrow to accept that all of this was reality now and not any sort of dream.

I had a mate now or again, and he hated me.

"Let’s go in." I heard Daniel utter from behind, tearing me away from my thoughts as I stared at the huge mansion right in front of me,

When I looked around, Alpha Dexter was nowhere to be found,

"Where’s he?"

"It’s his alone time right now. I would show you to your room and dinner would be ready in 40 minutes."

I didn’t utter a word but followed Daniel until we got to a room. As soon as he opened the door, I widened my eyes in shock. It wasn’t big, it was amazingly massive.

I slowly stepped into the room,

"If nothing is to your taste, just inform me and it will be sorted out."

1 scoffed,

Everything was fucking to my taste or even more.

"I will take my leave now,"

I nodded my head and he stepped out of the room. Taking a deep breath in, I ran towards the king size bed and jumped on the soft silky foam, spreading my arms apart as I inhaled the luxury in this room. This was freaking heaven! The chandeliers were the prettiest, the curtains, and everything. I had never even had the chance to see something as beautiful as this,

I rose to my feet and began to pull off my clothes, wanting so badly to get into the showers before dimmer, About 15 minutes later, I was finally done. I stared at myself in the mirror, wondering what this pack held for me,

"Hello, my name is Amelia Ross and my father is.... I paused, biting my lower lips as I thought about my father, my step sisters and my step mother. They must all be so happy now that I was gone,

There was no need to mention my father in any of this. So long as I was alive, I was alone because I had practically raised myself,

Still pondering on what I needed to say, I heard the door open, and I immediately turned around to see him standing right next to the door, and staring at me like I was some kind of prey he could devour

any moment from now,

It was only then I realized.... I was only in a mini towel slightly above my thighs.
