The Crazy Rich Madame

Inip na inip na si Vladimyr habang nakahiga sa kama at gumagala ang paningin sa lahat ng sulok ng puting kuwartong yon. Kulang na lang pati butiki at mga langgam dumadaan sa kisame ay kaya na niyang bilangin, malibang lamang kahit konti.

"Isang buwan na ko dito sa ospital na nagpapagaling. Magaling naman na ang mga bruises at sugat ko. Maayos na rin ang mga bone fractures ko, technically. I am 90% recovered. Kaya lang may mga test pa daw na kailangan gawin bago ako i-discharge? Anong kalokohan to?" Nagrereklamo niyang sabi sabay buga ng hangin dulot ng sobrang pagkinip.

"Sis...."Nilingon ni Vladimyr ang kakapasok lang na kapatid na sina Vlex at Vraq. May dala ang mga ito na basket ng prutas.

Si Vlex na naka-casual, knee length bluish maxi dress. Habang si Vraq ay naka black leather pants at spaghetti strap top. Paired with black transparent coat mesh. Wearing dark heavy makeup, while Vlex has a fresh like make-up.

"Vraq, Vlex, mabuti naman bumalik na kaagad kayong dalawa." Bati ni Vlad at ngumuso na parang bata. "Sobrang na miss ko kayo..." Kaagad niyang niyakap ang dalawang kapatid na umakap din sa kanya ng mahigpit. Nang lumapit ito sa kama niya.

"I miss you too sissy!" Vraq said in giggles.

"I miss you too, sister." Vlex said timidly and smiled.

"Kamusta na ba kayong dalawa?" Sumandal si Vlad sa headboard sabay abot ng mansanas sa basket.

"We're fine" tipid na sagot ni Vlex at inagaw ang mansanas, tumayo ito at pumunta sa sink saka hinugasan muna ang mansanas. "Let me slice it for you first." Wika nito na nilingon pa si siya. Kumuha ng maliit na kutsilyo si Vlex sa dala nilang basket ng prutas saka sinimulan balatang ang mansanas.

Tumango na lang si Vladimyr saka tumingin kay Vraq.

"What about you?" Tanong niya.

"Ako dapat ang nagtatanong niyan sa'yo diba?" Tumaas ang kilay ni Vraq na parang nagsususpetsa.

Kumunot ang noo ni Vladimyr dahil sa tinuran ni Vraq. Hindi niya maintindihan ang pinupunto nito.

"You see I'm already okay... pinatatagal lang ng mga doctor dito ang stay ko dito." Nagmamaktol niyang sabi.

Vraq flicked Vlad's forehead. Which made the latter startled.

"Ouch sis!" Vlad rubbed her forehead with her lips pouted as she look at her sister in amusement.

"Silly! It's not about that!" Vraw said in a 'duhh' manner sabay irap kay Vlad at humalukipkip.

"Deretsohin mo na nga, Vraq, ayoko ng mga binibitin ako eh." She chuckled. "And dami nyong paligoy-ligoy dalawa, alam niyo ba yon?" Pagsusungit nya kumwari. Nilapag ni Vlex ang plato na may sliced apples at fork sa side table. Dinampot ni Vladimyr ang tinidor, tumusok ng isang slice ng mansanas at sinubo iyon lahat sa bibig. Vlad, slowly munch the crisp and fresh apple while looking at her two sisters with a puzzled gaze.

"Luvien..." Ani Vlex saka siya binigyan ng mapanuring tingin..

Lalong nangunot ang noo niya pagka banggit ng pangalan ni Luvien.

'Anong kinalaman ng lalaking yon sa pag galing ko?' bulong niya at kinunutan ng blnoo ang dalawa.

Tumusok ulit ng isang slice ng apple si Vlad sabay subo. She tasted the sweet juice from the fresh apple as she munch it.

'Mhmm.... so good!' she mumbled.

Tiningnan ng dalawa si Vladimyr na parang inaarok ng mga ito ang nasa isip niya. Saka napa buntong hininga.

"He's been here since you're still unconscious. Binabantayan ka niya, he's taking care of you." ani Vlex. Bakas sa tono nito ang pagkabahala.

"So?" Pakli niya.

"I didn't know and I didn't tell him to do that?.... did you tell him?"

Umiling ang dalawa.

"You should be more careful, sister. We don't want to see you hurting again, like before."Vraq said with a concerned tone.

Dama ni Vladimyr ang pag aalala ng dalawa para sa kanya. Alam niya kung bakit ganun na lang ang iniisip ng dalawa niyang kapatid. And she is happy to learn that her sister loves her so much. But,

"Look sis..." Vlex heaves a deep sigh before speaking. "We won't budge your decision cuz it's your own life and you're not young to be told what's best for you. I believe you can decide what's best for you," Vlex paused and butes her lower lip the speak again. "it's just that..."

Vraq gently grasps Vlad's hand.

"It's just that we don't wanna see you suffering again because of that man...." Vraq heartfully said.

Natigilan si Vladimyr sa sinabi ni Vraq. Pagkatapos ay nilingon niya din si Vlex na seryoso ang mga itsura sabay hagalpak ng tawa.

Tawang umaalingawngaw sa loob ng buong kwarto. Na para bang nakatinig siya ng pinaka nakakatawang biro. 'Damn!' 

She cursed while still laughing and holding her stomach.

"Ghadd! Where did you get that idea?" She asks, still trying to hold the laughter.

Nagkatinginan si Vraq at Vlex. Hindi nila expected na tatawanan lang sila ni Vladimyr. Gayong, di nila alam kung paano kakausapin ang kapatid tungkol sa pagkalalapit muli ng ex bf nito. Na si Luvien. (Lucien)

These past four weeks, Luvien is there, waiting, talking to her, taking care of her while she's unconscious under the effect of medicines injected on her IV drip.

The two witnessed how hands-on Luvien is for taking care of their sister.

But they can't stop themselves from worrying. Likas na kay Luvien ang pagiging maalaga nito sa kapatid nilang si Vladimyr noon pa. They never doubted his love for Vladimyr, cause he is really caring and spoiling Vladimyr.

But, unexpectedly, this guy disappeared without any words. Nor inform her-where he's going or if he is still coming back so Vladimyr won't hope and wait for him.

Ang masama pa nito, Vladimyr was just 16 when this guy impregnated her and left her cluelessly.

It was when Vraq was just 15 and Vlex was 14. They are too young to help Vladimyr when their parents disowned her sister for getting pregnant at such a young age. And send her out of the house.

They witnessed how Vlad suffered from heartaches and hopelessness.

They can't do anything, but gave her their allowance whenever they go to school and find her in a small old house on the sidewalk, to make her atleast buy something to eat for her and for the baby. Until their father decided to go to the states and stay there without considering their daughter is out there helpless.

'He just ruined her life!' Vraq mumbled angrily.

Kaya natatakot silang sa pagbabalik ni Luvien sa buhay ng kapatid nila ay baka mag iwan na naman ng sugat ito sa puso ni Vlad.

Bumuntong hininga si Vladimyr saka muling nagsalita.

"Sis, there is no way I can be fooled by that man again. Rest assured. I'm different now." she said,

'totally different from Vlad before.' In her mind.

'She's not the Vladimyr before, that is so stupid to take him back, heartily!' her inner self sneered.

That was true, Vladimyr changed a lot. So much change that she can end a life in a snap!

Napa iling si Vladimyr saka kinuha ang plato na may slice ng apples.

"I love you both sissy" she a smiles at them brightly then eats all the sliced apples on the plate. She also asks Vlex for another apple and eats the other fruits while Vlex is busy preparing her request.
