The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 2392

Chapter 2392

Bella had no intention of going home and chose to stay at her office instead. Unless Justin's matter was resolved, she could not relax or focus on anything else.

Upon receiving Ralph's message, she immediately realized that there was something suspicious about Dr. Wagner, the so-called witness.

Hearing about Justin's incident, Asher, Axel, and Ralph decided to head to the KS Group headquarters, gathering in Bella's office late at night.

Worried that their sister and Steven were working too hard, the three brothers brought food and drinks with them, breaking the tense and oppressive atmosphere with some family warmth.

"Steve, this is from Amelia," Axel said with a sly smile, placing a thermos on the desk. "She made this soup herself and insisted that you drink every last drop."

His eyes sparkled with mischief as he added, "I took a peek at the ingredients. It's very nourishing, especially for men."

Steven blushed and smiled awkwardly. Despite his embarrassment, his heart ached with love for his wife and said, "She's about to give birth soon. She should be resting and taking care of herself. Why is she worrying about me instead?"

Bella stuffed her mouth with the bread Asher had brought that was handmade by Celeste.

With her cheeks puffed out, she mumbled, "Hmph! It's because my sister loves you deeply. Just drink the soup and stop overthinking it."

Steven's face lit up with a contented smile as he finished the entire bowl of soup.

Although Bella did not have much of an appetite, she forced herself to eat. After all, food was fuel, and she needed strength to keep fighting.

After finishing the meal, Steven returned to work, while the four siblings continued discussing Justin.

"A key witness like that doctor suddenly showing up out of nowhere? This is too much of a coincidence! If this truly wasn't a setup, I'll eat dirt!" Ralph's frustration boiled over, his anger barely contained as he nearly flipped the table.

Bella and Asher exchanged a speechless glance.

Axel chuckled helplessly and patted Ralph on the shoulder. "Calm down, Ralph. No need to go that far."

"Grant had planned this trap meticulously. Dr. Wagner must've been part of it to make the whole setup convincing," Bella said, massaging her temples with her fingers as her sharp gaze turned cold.

"Even if the witness was part of the scheme, the blood samples are undeniable evidence," Asher said, pouring a glass of warm water for his sister, his face clouded with worry.

"It's going to be hard to clear Justin's name of drug charges. Plus, the news has already spread. In this age of social media, rumors spread like wildfire. You can't silence everyone, Bella."

Axel clenched his teeth.

"Rumors alone can destroy a man. Grant's move was despicable. It was not just about pulling Justin down; it was about destroying him completely."

The atmosphere in the office grew heavy once again.

"There are only two possible options," Bella said, suppressing her headache as her eyes grew darker. "One, we get Dr. Wagner to change his testimony and admit the blood report is falsified. He needs to switch sides.

"Two, we find concrete evidence that proves Justin wasn't taking Crystal Ice, but a legitimate medication for treating his brain injury. The toxins in his body would be linked to the medication, not drugs."

Ralph scratched his head in frustration. "But it's been so long... How are we supposed to prove that now?"

"We can," Asher said, taking a deep breath. He lowered his gaze as if trying to suppress a storm of emotions. "Arnold was the doctor in charge of Justin's treatment when he was unconscious. He should have a solution."
