The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage by Chu

Chapter 2062

Jason nodded. "Of course I'm sure! I've told them to stay hidden while you come with me to check out the situation, and then we can beat them up after if we want to. Let's go!"

With that, Jason drove Frank all the way to an abandoned factory on the west side of town.

The two hooligans had clearly been waiting there for a while, and they waved at Jason and Frank when they saw them, hurrying to their side.

"How's things?" Jason asked.

"We've been watching the whole night," one of them reported. "At least twenty cars drove in there!"

Jason nodded and turned toward Frank.

"This is most likely their base."

Frank nodded, pointing at the distant town. "The land here is worth its weight in gold-they would have demolished a rundown factory ages ago. But just to be sure, I will go in and check. You boys wait here." With that, Frank headed around to the back of the factory, leaping over the wall.

He immediately saw a rundown seven-floored office building and heard a rush of footsteps when he listened.

There were no cameras, however, which left Frank uncertain if this was the loan shark's base.

As such, he walked slowly to the first floor.

There was no one around, but there were countless footprints on the thick dust on the floor.

Frank continued forward and noticed that a camera was aimed squarely at the stars!

Smirking, he backed away outside the building and leapt up to a second-floor window.

Gently opening it since he saw no one there, he tiptoed inside.

Soon, he saw that there was no one there at all and left to climb up to the third floor from the outside.

This time, there were many middle-aged men, all of them chattering endlessly into their headsets in front of their laptops.

The soundproofing was very good too, and Frank would not have heard them if not for his advanced cultivation. It went without saying that average Joes like them would not even dream that there was someone in here. Frank looked for an unoccupied room and leapt inside, sneaking all the way to the male toilet to wait.

Soon, he heard footsteps and moved swiftly to subdue a bespectacled man who came for his toilet break.

As he clasped his hand over the

man's mouth, the man shook hisel

head repeatedly, clearly fearing for his life.

Frank shushed him. "Don't worry-I won't kill you. Just tell me where your boss is!"

The man pointed at his own mouth, but Frank was not about to fall for

it-k

if the man started yelling?

"Hold up your fingers. Which floor is he on?" Frank asked.

Seeing that Frank was not falling for it, the man had no choice but to cooperate and held up five fingers.

"Which room?" Frank pressed.

The man held up seven fingers and pointed toward the southern end.

"The seventh room to the south?"

The man nodded repeatedly.

"Well, sorry about this!" Frank said and tapped the man's nape, knocking him out.

Dragging the man into the toilet, he tied the man to a pipe with his necktie and took off a sock to gag him.

Then, he leapt out of the third floor and climbed up to the fifth.

Nearby, one of the hooligans pointed at the office building and exclaimed, "Look, boss!"

Jason was left reeling. "I didn't think he's that good... I must come up with a plan to recruit him now!"

Meanwhile, Frank found the seventh room and kicked through the glass to charge inside!

"Who are you?!" A scrawny geezer sat up on a grand bed and scrambled for his glasses.

The two women beside him quickly pulled up the blanket to cover themselves.
