The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor

Fane had even been ready to give up. After all, he knew better than anyone that there was no point in forcing himself to continue. Fane's hands trembled, and his breathing started to speed up. Only then did he start to calm down as he turned around to look behind him. At that moment, the whole place was entirely peaceful. He could not feel any energy around him at all! Only by stepping inside could one feel how violent that raging storm was. Even Fane had been forced to spend all of his true energy before he reached the end! That had been so different from his expectations. Fane had thought that the Path of Fate would be like the Three Energy Space, that he would not need to expend too much energy to successfully attempt the challenge. He seemed to have underestimated the Radiant Hall. Fane wiped away the sweat from his forehead.

Suddenly a golden light appeared in the air and completely surrounded Fane, but Fane did not fight back at all. He could feel no murderous intent from the light.

Before the crowd could recover from their shock, they saw the golden light surrounding Fane. All of them widened their eyes. The golden light only lasted for a moment before it disappeared. When it did, everyone could see a box in Fane's hands. Even though they were far away from Fane, they could still feel the energy coming from the box. Anyone could clearly tell that the box contained an amazing treasure.

Everyone found themselves at a complete loss for words at that moment. Fane had managed to reach the end. That result was practically a miracle in their eyes. There was no way the reward Fane got would be anything ordinary. The moment Fane received the reward, his name appeared on the massive scroll as well.

His name was undoubtedly in the

first place. The number nine appeared right behind the name, signifying that Fane had managed to get nine points. Quite a few people stared right at that moment, and they felt themselves breathing even quicker and quicker. However, all they could do was watch Fane had used his skill to get those points, while it was not possible for them at all!

"I thought I would never get to see that number, but I really witnessed a miracle! Is this the power of a warrior at the peak? The difference between us is just insane! I've only heard of it before, but seeing it for myself, I finally realized how big the gap is between them and me," A man in black robes lamented.

White bit his lips, and he had a complicated expression on his face as he stared at Fane's results. After he had finished his challenge, Lourain rushed up behind him. Lionel had rushed up to the Path of Fate for revenge as well. There was alse Adler, but all of them had been attacked on the Path of Fate and did not truly complete the challenge.

Fane was the only person who actually did the challenge after White, but Fane had performed a miracle, going from the start to the end. Meanwhile, White was already completely spent after reaching the sixty-meter point. Fane managed to achieve double his results. The gap between them was clear. All White could do was lament the fact. White clenched his teeth and sighed before he said, "I took such a big risk to enter the Radiant Hall because I wanted the chance to become a warrior at the peak! Yet, I never thought about the gap between me and them!

"I finally know how big the gap is. I'd thought that I would just need to take a big step forward to become a warrior at the peak. Now I know that, even if I take two or three steps forward, I'll not even be able to scratch at their heels!"
