“You two should head down and wait.

Aside from the bookshelves, which had been disordered by gunfire, the desk was also in disarray.

Perhaps Wilfred had tried to locate the seal and failed, leaving the place in chaos.

Since Hannah knew Remington had the seal, there seemed to be nothing crucial left in Wallace’s study.

She strolled around and noticed numerous valuable antiques on the shelf behind the desk, which remained untouched.

Hannah extended her hand to the items on the shelf and used her fingertips to graze them.

Each piece appeared to be worth millions.

She smirked with disdain.

If Wilfred had the nerve, he could have just moved the antiques and earned a fortune.

Bang.

As she pulled her hand back, she accidentally bumped a glazed jar beside her.

The jar emitted a dull thud, and she instinctively reached to catch it but noticed it hadn’t moved at all!

“That’s odd…” Hannah murmured softly.

Pursing her lips, she examined the jar more closely and decided to take it down.

To her surprise, the jar seemed firmly fixed to the shelf, completely immovable!

Puzzled, an idea sparked in Hannah’s mind.

She tried twisting the jar in different directions.

Unexpectedly, it turned left!

Crack!

A soft click sounded from behind the wall, and Hannah turned to see a concealed section slowly opening.

Her eyes widened as she took this in.

Was there another hidden area in this study?

As the wall shifted, a door was revealed.

Frowning slightly, Hannah approached and pushed it open with ease.

She stepped inside and found herself in a small room filled with various ornaments and a wooden box on the table.
