The Unshackled Queen: Never Say Never

Chapter 1974

Pinned to the ground, Faustina could barely raise her head and Looked at Hannah in terror.

“You.

you’re not being fair!”

Hannah ignored her.

“First question, were you involved in poisoning my father?”

Bang!

Faustina’s face went white, and she began to stutter.

Dilan’s grip tightened on one of her arms.

“Ah! It hurts!” Overwhelmed by pain, Faustina cried out, “I was following orders! It wasn’t my idea!”

Hearing this, Charlie stared at her, stunned.

“You were the one who poisoned Mr.

Compton? How on earth did you do it?”

Under pain, sweat covered Faustina’s forehead as she replied, “Every time I went to the study, I put substances in his water.”

“You bastard! How could you!” Charlie lunged toward her, ready to strike.

However, before she could reach Faustina, Hannah’s voice stopped her.

“Charlie! Stand down!”

“Okay.” Charlie took a deep breath, stifling his anger, before turning around and retreating to Hannah’s side.

“Go on!” Hannah ordered expressionlessly.

Realizing she could no longer keep it to herself, Faustina knew she had to reveal everything.

“It was… Well… Amelie threatened me! I admit that I did things for her before, but that was solely because she was the lady of the Comptons’ house.”

Dotson sneered, “She’s already gone.

How could she possibly threaten you into putting drugs in Mr.

Compton’s water glass? As far as we know, you were chosen from the orphanage.

Don’t claim she threatened your parents.”

Faustina panicked.

She couldn’t find an excuse.

She abruptly plopped on the floor and said, “I… I did it for money… But please don’t kill me! I can give you all the money I get!”

Dotson tightened his grip and said, “Do you really think our boss cares about your money?”

Dilan glanced at Hannah and asked, “Boss, should we take her out immediately?”

“No!” Faustina, trembling with fear, pleaded, “Hannah, please forgive me! I’ll do whatever you want me to do.

Don’t kill me! Please!”

Hannah examined Faustina’s face for a while.

“Let me deal with her.” Charlie spoke in a cold, determined tone.

“There’s a problem within our group.

I’m the one who needs to handle it.”

If she truly fell into Charlie’s hands, it would be better to be killed directly by Hannah.

Faustina’s face was ashen, and she showed no inclination to resist.
