The vendor chuckled nervously.

“It’s like invisible smoke.

You can’t see it, but you feel it.”

Alicia murmured, “Seems the rumors are true — bad temper and impotence do go hand in hand.”

Caden was rendered speechless.

The vendor shot Alicia a quick, grateful glance.

Soon, the barbecue was ready, with the table piled high with energy-boosting dishes.

Caden picked up a chicken skewer, taking his time with each bite.

Gerry’s eyes widened.

“You ordered all of this, Caden?”

Caden nodded casually.

Gerry raised an eyebrow, amused.

“Can you even handle it?”

Caden shrugged.

“Doesn’t matter.

If I don’t have enough energy to perform well in bed, someone will start complaining.”

Alicia shot him a look and kicked him under the table.

Ignoring her, Caden took a slow bite of oysters.

His expression flattened as he chewed, clearly fighting to mask his distaste.

Each bite tasted like cardboard.

Finally, he reached for a drink and found it equally awful.

He couldn’t help but sigh.

After they’d eaten, Alicia reminded a tipsy Gerry, “Don’t forget what you promised me.”

Gerry nodded, thinking hard.

“Don’t worry.

I’ll send it to you as soon as I’m back.”

Worried he’d forget, she added, “I’ll message you a reminder, just in case.”

Gerry chuckled.

“Alright, alright.”

With Cliff there to look after Gerry, Alicia was less worried.

Cliff even took Monica with him, giving Caden a clear opportunity to talk things out with Alicia.

But as she approached her car, she froze, noticing all the tires were flat.

She stood in stunned silence.

Who the hell did this? She turned, and Caden was walking toward her.

He asked, glancing at the tires, “What happened here?”

Alicia crossed her arms.

“Caden, did you do this?”

Caden’s face remained calm.

“I’ve been with you all night.

Think I cloned myself?”
