“A bond similar to mate bond? I know this is called the protector bond but you. know that no Luna has a protector in the past 100 years. You want to say that Crystal has a protector? “William asked Adam in a mocking tone. 

Adam smiled while looking at me. “Yes, William this is what I meant. The interesting thing is that we all know that person very well and also about his protectiveness towards Crystal. He left his pack with his mate only to stay close to her,” Adam said further and William narrowed his eyes. 

Adam smiled again and nodded to him when we realized that liam has already guessed that person name. “He is my father, Alpha Adrian, ” Adam said in a calm but proud tone. He then told William how we came to know about that as Alpha Adrian Never told us about that. 

William kept staring at me and Adam for a good few minutes in silence after Adam finished telling him about me and his father. It was a huge thing and his shocked state was understandable. “In Theo’s absence, he will stay close to Crystal, and can keep Crystal stronger until he comes back,” William told him more while finishing the whole protector thing. 

William ran his fingers through his hair while looking at me with the same. blank look. “Let’s pray, brother, that nothing happen until Theo comes back,” I whispered while lowering my eyes. “You always called him Dad, Crystal, and he always loved you as his daughter. He will do everything that he can do to keep you safe,” Adam said to me and I felt a hand on my shoulder. We were sitting in a room outside the ICU where I wanted William to take some rest. 

I looked up and saw William standing beside me. “You don’t worry, pup, and leave everything on the Moon Goddess. She has her own ways to deal with our problems. I am sure that she has something in her mind already to deal with. this situation,” he comforted me and I smiled while leaning towards him. I put my head on his shoulder while wrapping my hands around his waist. 

He stroked the back of my head and I let him gave me the comfort that I needed right now. I slowly opened my eyes when I felt Albert’s presence outside the room. I lifted my head up and looked in the direction of the door, 

Albert knocked the door, and I gave him the permission to enter. “What is it?

Is she okay?” I asked him in a worried tone when I was his worried face after he entered the room. “She needs blood for transfusion, Luna,” he told me and I straightened my back while removing my hands from William’s waist, looking at Albert in confusion. 

“Then go ahead and use the blood that we have in our blood bank? What’s the problem?” I asked him in a confused tone. He bit his lower l*p while looking at William and Adam. “Albert…. What is the problem?” I asked him again when I saw him hesitant and scared. “She… she has a rare blood group, Luna. We… we only have one unit of that blood group that… that we have already transfused to her. Sh… she needs more blood,” he answered me this time in a hesitant 

tone. 

“What’s her blood group?” Adam asked him in a calm, and serious tone. Albert peeked at him and lowered his head. “B negative, Alpha,” Albert answered him in a low tone. Both I and William snapped our heads towards Albert in surprise, and Adam’s eyes widened in shock. 

“But e… we can’t transfuse your blood to her,” Albert continued in the same low tone, almost in whispers. I closed my eyes when I realized why he was worried. Adam also had the same blood group, but his blood has now vampire abilities and it could be fatal for William’s mate. 

“I am sorry, Alpha,” Albert whispered once again. “Don’t be, Albert. It’s not your fault that she is in this condition. Try to find someone with this blood group. We can’t sit idle, can we?” I immediately replied to Albert, comforting him in the process. 

He gulped hard and glance at me, still having his eyes low. I raised my brows. when I felt that he had something more that he wanted to say. 

“Mom… Mom also has the same blood group!” Adam suddenly exclaimed in excitement. I looked at him in surprise when I remembered that both Adam and Luna Elena had the same blood group. “Yeah… Mom… she… she can give her blood to your mate, William,” I also said in excitement, and William looked at Adam hopefully.

There were three loud roars on the other side of the call. All of them were now angry and worried at the same time. “We are on our way, pup,” she answered me in a serious tone before hanging up. I sighed and closed my eyes. “You should lay down for some time, Crystal. You are exhausting yourself,” Adam said to me worriedly and I smiled weakly.
