Theo’s P. O. V. 

“We need to hurry, Killian. That leech had already guessed that we will do something like this, securing all the packs, leaving Crystal alone there in the Crescent Moon Pack,” Stella said in a hurried and panicked tone. 

Both I and Killian were busy dialling Willian and Nelson’s numbers while running towards the exit of the palace. The king was already outside waiting for us, and Killian asked him to call my father. “I asked my father to go there in the car while we will run to the Crescent Moon Pack,” Killian informed me, and I just nodded in response. 

“William, call Adam and ask him to come back as soon as possible. Ask your father to continue going towards the Blood Moon Pack but Adam must come back,” I instructed William in a hurried tone. “What happened? “William asked me immediately. 

“Dad! Secure the crescent moon pack and activate the security system all around the pack immediately. Tell alpha Sylvester and alpha Adrian that Markus is on his way there,” Killian instructed Nelson at the same time. 

William growled in anger when he heard Killian before I could answer him. “Do not let Crystal leave her mother and the room at any cost. She may have the next episode of attack soon. She must stay with her mother. Both I and Killian are on our way, “I instructed William further while running towards the border where we have to take our way to my pack. 

“Just be safe in your way, Theo. I am still having this feeling that Marcus has some other plans too.” I stopped in my tracks, making Killian and Stella stop with 

me, and narrowed my eyes. 

William was right. Stella got the information about Marcus’s whereabouts so easily, and it had information only about the Crescent Moon Pack. What if Marcus was outside the royal pack and was waiting for the king there? What if he let the information leak about his whereabouts intentionally, as he already knew by now that we were keeping tabs on him? 

“What happened?” Killian asked me in confusion. Stella also looked at me with the same expression on her face. “We are missing something, I answered him while thinking about what we were missing right now.

Chapter 101 

“I will call you back in five,” William said to me before cutting the call. “Secure your father first, Killian. There is no way that Marcus will let him come near your mother. He doesn’t know about my real relationship with her, and that’s why I am no threat to him, but your father is,” I heard Nelson instructing Killian in a firm tone, but I could feel the panic in his tone. 

All the lines on my forehead straightened immediately when I realized what we were missing. Marcus disappeared from his pack with two of his ministers, and one of them was as cruel and skilful as Marcus is. 

“He knows that we will try to take the king to my pack,” I said in a calm tone while looking towards Killian and Stella. Stella gasped in shock, and Killian’s face went ugly in anger. “I am going to stop, Dad,” Stella said, and she ran in the direction from where the king would cross the Royal Pack’s border. I was sure that she had already mind–linked the border patrols and she wouldn’t leave him alone. 

I immediately called Adam’s number, but his phone was busy. “Ask Edward to activate the mines and motion detectors all around the pack, Killian. He is already here,” I instructed Killian while waiting for Adam to pick up my phone. He nodded and took a deep breath. “Let me talk with Alpha Adrian and I will contact you later,” Nelson said before hanging up Killian’s call. 

“I am calling Thomas too, Killian informed me, and I gave him a curt nod. Adam didn’t pick up the call, and it made me worried for him. I dialled William’s number, and he immediately picked up the call. 

“None of them is picking up the phone, Theo. I called Vincent and he told me that he… He talked with Dad half an hour ago and Dad told him about something suspicious in their way,” William immediately told me while yelling in panic as soon as he picked up the call. 

My heart skipped a beat in fear and I looked at Killian who also had the same expression on his face. He sent a group of warriors in their search but they were still far from my pack,” William continued telling me about what he talked with Vincent same tone. 

“Don’t let Crystal know anything about this, William.” Suddenly, Killian instructed William in a hurried tone. There was silence on William’s side that increased my worry. 

William… What happened?” I asked him after some time when he didn’t utter

“Don’t do anything on whiff, Crystal. We know that… That the situation is crucial right now but we have to anticipate his right move,” Killian said to Crystal in a panicked tone. 

“I know, Killian. Dad Warrick is capable enough to kill a whole coven. With Adam, he is invincible. I am not worried about them,” Crystal answered in at calm tone and both I and Killian took a breath of relief immediately. 

“Secure, Dad, first, and don’t leave the pack until I make sure that there is no threat for either of you there. Activate UV rays there, and try to spot as many vampires as you can through cameras. I will take care of the rest of the things here,” she instructed us in a calm tone. 

I had a small smile on my l*ps now. I knew that she was up to something. The calmness in her voice was enough to tell me how infuriated she was right now. 

“You just don’t leave the pack at any cost, Crystal. We will take care of the rest. of the things,” Killian asked her in a worried tone, and a sly smile appeared on my l*ps. Killian raised his brows and I gave him a knowing look. He sighed helplessly. 

“Crystal,” he called his name in a helpless tone. “I am not going to do anything reckless, brother. Don’t worry about that. I have my mother here who is still unconscious and vulnerable to every threat. I have all my three mothers here to take care of. I will not do anything that could put them in danger,” she answered him in the same tone.
