Chapter 107 

Nelson’s P.O.V. 

“You should stop her, Nelson. I am having a bad feeling about everything right now,” Storm asked me in a worried tone while pacing to and fro at the back of my mind. 

“Do you think that she would stop if I stop her right now, huh?” I asked him in a pissed–off tone as I was also having anxiety about her trying to connect herself with her mother. “She… she has to endure immense pain if Moon tries to connect herself with Catherine again. Neither Crystal nor Luna is strong enough to bear that pain. They… they… they,” he yelled but hesitated in the end, making my heart skipped a beat in fear. 

I immediately went near to Crystal and called her in a low tone, but she didn’t. respond to me, making me panic. “Crystal… wake up… you don’t need to do this. We… will find some another way, honey… just leave it,” I continued, insisting her to give up her try to connect with her mother through a mother- daughter bond. 

I panicked when she didn’t respond to me for the new few seconds. “Crystal….. Crystal, I called her in panic and put my hand on her shoulder. Both Theo and Adam were out of reach right now. I didn’t know what I would do if something happens to Crystal. She shuddered hard and her grip on Catherine’s finger tightened. 

“Adrian….. Adrian,” I screamed in panic through mind–link, calling Adrian for help. He was his protector. He must know something about how to keep Crystal safe. “I am passing my strength to my daughter,” Storm said in a hurried tone at the same time when I screamed. “What happened?” Adrian asked me in a panicked tone. 

“Crystal… she… she put herself in danger,” I told him in a panicked tone. At the same time, my whole b*dy shuddered hard when I felt a surge of energy going out of my b*dy to Crystal. “What?” Adrian roared aloud in panic. 

Suddenly Crystal’s b*dy started falling. I immediately grabbed her by her shoulder by one hand as I was now holding her other hand in my one hand. I sat down on my knee in front of her while securing her b*dy in my embrace. “You need to wake up, honey. I… I can’t lose you,” I whispered to her while tightening my grip on her b*dy.

Chapter 107 

I felt some movements in Catherine’s b*dy that made me looked at her. My eyes widened in shock when I saw her brows knitting. She gripped Crystal’s fingers. “Wake her up, Nelson… this is too much strength,” Storm yelled in a panicked and exhausted voice. 

“Crystal.” I sighed in relief when I heard so many voices shouting her name in panic. Adrian fell on her knees in front of me, looking at Crystal worriedly. “What happened to her? What is she doing?” he asked me in a panicked tone. 

I felt so tired as if I had no strength in my b*dy. Adrian immediately engulfed both me and Crystal in his embrace. I felt two more hands, but my eyes lids were now so heavy to move up. “She… she is tr.. trying to r… reach her… her mother t… through….the….their bond. I…am… t.. tryin… g to.. to w..ake,” I answered him with so much difficulty and paused in the end, trying to breath properly, 

I was now breathing heavily. “What’s wrong with both of them, Adrian? Why are they like this?” I heard Martha crying bitterly that made me tightened my grip on Crystal. “She stirred… O My Goddess…. She a… actually stirred,” Silvia screamed in an excited and shocked tone at the same time. I forced my lids to open up, and sighed when saw Catherine’s eyes balls moving. 

“This is enough. separate them,” Adrian said and I nodded. I saw him taking 

their hands in his hand to separate them, but gaspedal in shock. I 

collapsed in his embrace with Crystal in mine. My heart stopped beating when I felt that Crystal was not breathing. “Separate the… ir hands… now,” Storm. screamed in panic at the back of my mind. 

Without thinking twice, I gathered the last bit of strength that I had, and yanked Crystal’s hand, removing her grip on Catherine’s fingers. “Call the d…. o…ctor,” I yelled, holding Crystal tightly in my embrace. “I got her… you can leave her,” William whispered, and that was when I realized that he was the other person who was holding us. 

I released Crystal from my embrace, and William scooped her up in bridal style. “I got you,” Adrian said to me in a firm tone, and pulled me up with him, holding me tightly in his embrace. He made me sit on the bed where Catherine was sleeping now. He made me lay down on the other side, and I closed my eyes while breathing heavily. “What happened to her, William? Why isn’t she breathing?” I heard Martha crying bitterly. 

“She is breathing, Mom… don’t speak ill things,” William scolded her, making

me smile bitterly. “Aaaaaahhhhhh.” I shot opened my eyes in panic when I heard Crystal screaming at the top of her lungs. “Crystal.” Almost everyone present in the room shouted in panic. It was the first time that I witnessed what she endured during these panic attacks, and it almost killed me. 

Storm howled in pain too. I slowly got up, holding my b*dy weight on my hands while looking at William in panic. He was holding Crystal tightly in his embrace as her whole b*dy was arched backward on a painful angle. 

“Wh… where is Theo… Wh. where is Adam?” I asked Adrian in panic, but he didn’t answer me. Instead he ran to Crystal, and held her legs. William had put her down on the couch, and now both William and Adrian were sitting beside her on their knees. 

“We are attacked,” Silvia screamed this time. I wanted to stand up, but I had no strength left in my b*dy. I needed some time to regain my strength. 

“Aaaaaaahhhhhhh,” Crystal screamed once again, and the pain in voice was too much to bear. 

“Mom.” William screamed this time. “I got this, honey… You take care of your sister. There is no way that I will let any of them enter the pack…. Not until I am alive,” Martha said in a firm but painful tone. I looked at her, and saw tears. streaming down her eyes. “Let’s go, Martha…. We have to keep our pups safe,” Silvia said in a cracked tone, but there was determination of a mother and a Luna in her voice. 

Martha, and Elena nodded to her, and looked at Crystal one more time before leaving the room. “We need some blood, and we will be ready to fight them,” Storm said in a weak tone. “Can’t you give her your blood, William? Your blood was the first thing that she tasted after mother’s milk,” Adrian asked William in a worried tone. 

I narrowed my eyes when I realized what he meant. I heard that it was William who fed her his blood unintentionally when she was only a week old. That was just an accident, but after that, Crystal never cried because of hunger. Adrian looked at me this time to confirm if it could work or not. 

“I guess…. we…. can give it a try,” I replied to him, and William nodded. “Crystal…. Crystal… Suck my blood, kiddo,” William shook Crystal’s b*dy lightly while putting his wrist on her mouth. She screamed aloud one more time, and Catherine’s b*dy shuddered this time. “Moon…. Sh… she surfaced, Storm said in a shocked tone this time.

“Moon… her mother’s wolf… she is awake,” I told them in a weak tone, and 

closed my eyes when I felt dizzy. I slowly crawled towards Catherine and held her hand. “Ask someone to bring my bag, Adrian.” I asked Adrian in a weak tone while taking Catherine’s hand in mine.. 

William’s phone started ringing at the same time, making me open my eyes. I saw Adrian taking William’s phone out as William wounds his wrist at the same time. “Did you find Warrick, and Adam?” Adrian asked in a worried tone after picking up the call. 

“We captured Marcus’s ministers, Alpha. We are on our way to the Crescent Moon Pack. Marcus is about to attack there,” Vincent answered Adrian in a worried tone, making my eyes go wide. It meant that all the Lunas were fighting against Marcus right now. 

“Damn it,” I cursed and looked at Catherine. “I am sorry, my love… but ….. I.. I need to go,” I whispered to her in a painful tone. “You go. Dad…….. I will take care of them,” William said to Adrian in a stern tone. “A… are you sure?” Adrian asked him worriedly. William looked at me this time. 

“Give him some of your blood,” he replied to Adrian while looking at me. “What is happening there? Why do you need to feed someone your blood?” Vincent yelled over the call. “Reach here as soon as possible, Vincent. We are already under attack. Call Theo, and tell him too,” William instructed Vincent, and at the same time, Crystal grabbed William’s wrist, and started sucking his blood. 

“Here,” Adrian came to me and offered his wrist. I had no choice but to suck his blood if I really wanted to keep this pack safe from Marcus. I took his wrist, and my canines extended at the same time, I pierced his wrist, making him hiss in pain. I thrust my fangs into his wrist and started sucking his blood. 

“It’s enough, kiddo…. It’s enough,” I heard William coaxing Crystal, but didn’t open my eyes. “It’s enough for us too. Rest we have plenty of blood bags out there,” Storm instructed me after a few seconds. I released Adrian’s wrist and looked at him with gratitude. “Is this enough?” he asked me in a surprised tone. The wound on his wrist had already started healing. 

“I need vampire or hybrid blood to get my full strength back, Adrian. Your blood gave me enough strength to stand up and go there,” I replied to him. with a small smile on my l*ps, and he nodded in understanding.

“Yo.. you need to stay, Nelson… She… she,” William suddenly said to me in a panicked tone, and at the same time, Crystal screamed at the top of her lungs, arching her whole b*dy once again. Catherine’s b*dy suddenly started. shuddering hard, making me pounce over her. “Take care of them… I need to go to the borders,” Adrian said in a worried tone, and I just nodded while holding Catherine by her shoulders. 

“Wake up. love… You are killing our daughter now,” I whispered to Catherine while hovering over her so that I could keep her b*dy pinned on the bed. Adrian ran out of the room at the same time. “Bring her here.. I guess they need to stay in close proximity,” I instructed William immediately. 

He brought Crystal immediately and put her down on the bed beside Catherine on the other side. “Join their hands,” I instructed him once again as I was still holding Catherine with all my strength. She was now shuddering so hard as if she were having seizures. William immediately put Crystal’s hand. on Catherine’s hand. 

We needed Theo or Adam here immediately because Crystal was now losing her breath. Her face was completely white as if she had no blood in her b*dy. A little movement in her chest was the only thing that ensured us that she was. still alive; otherwise, she could be considered dead. 

“Where is Theo? When will he be back?” I asked William in a worried tone. He looked at me helplessly while holding Crystal’s other hand. The problem was that none of us could mind–link anyone here in this pack. “Ca… can you call someone to ask about them?” I requested William and he nodded to me.
