Chapter 106
Chapter 106
Crystal’s P.O.V.
I looked at William, who had a cold face right now. “You will not go out at any cost, Crystal,” he said in a stern tone, making me smirk. “I am not even planning to do this for now, brother, but I will leave if we don’t get any news about them in the next half an hour.” I answered him in the same calm tone, but there was a storm inside my mind.
Dad Warrick was the one who gave me all his fatherly love all these years when he clearly knew that I was not his daughter. He still loved me more than William and Vincent. I knew that he was capable enough to keep him safe, and Adam would not let anything happen to him. Still, I was hell–worried inside. my heart.
“I am going to meet my mother. It’s time for her to wake up,” I said to William in the same tone. “Okay… let’s go,” he answered and he was about to stand up from the couch where he was sitting with me in the hospital waiting room 1, but I stopped him. “You stay here. What if they need you later?” I instructed. him, and his expression changed into a troubled one. He looked in the direction of the ICU, where his mate was still struggling to stay alive.
I smiled lightly and took his hand in mine. “I am perfectly fine, brother, and nothing can happen to me inside the pack territory. You know very well that the whole pack will risk their lives for me but never let anyone touch me, right?” I asked him while comforting him. He was torn between whether to stay or not. “Let me arrange a few guards to go with you,” he said in the end.
I gave him a curt nod and took a deep breath. “Stay here,” he instructed me before going towards the other side of the corridor. I went to the chairs and sat down there once again. I leaned my head on the wall and put the back of my head on the wall while closing my eyes.
“We can’t just sit here and think about what to do next, Crystal. He is our father,” Luna whined while pacing to and fro. She was continuously worried all this time, but I didn’t let her mood affect me. “I know, but we can’t leave our mother either,” I replied to her in a defeated tone.
“Let me try one more time to connect with her wolf,” she asked further, and I pursed my l*ps into a thin line. “I know that it could put our lives at risk, but We are already on it. If she tries to leave us again, we will die. Let me do this,

she continued, still pacing impatiently.
“Alright… but not now. Let me reach our mother’s room first,” I gave in but instructed her immediately not to try anything that could put us in danger. William would feel it immediately. “Yeah… I am not that stupid. We may be the most powerful werewolf in this world, but William is scary,” she said while. pouting this time, making me smile.
“That I completely agree with you,” I answered her and we both chuckled. together. It was hard to deceive William, but we needed to give it a try. “I am calling Vincent to know about the situation there,” I told her but she stopped me. “Don’t call now. It may be possible that he would have gone to search for them,” she said and I chewed on my inner cheeks.
“What are you thinking so hard about?” I opened my eyes when William asked me in a worried tone. “About Dad,” I answered him truthfully. I saw two warriors standing a little far from us. We had arranged everything for my mother in the pack house, next to my room.
“I talked with Mom. She said that she didn’t feel any pain. It meant that he is still not harmed,” he told me, and I nodded with a weak smile on my l*ps. “It’s good news,” I replied to him while standing up. “I get going then,” I said. further and he nodded.
He suddenly grabbed my arm when I was about to walk away. I looked at him. questioningly. “I know that you and Luna are up to something. Don’t do anything without discussing that with me or Theo. You know me very well, Crystal,” he threatened me and I gulped hard while blinking rapidly.
“I told you he is scary,” Luna whined while tucking her tail in between her hind legs in fear. “I… I know, William, and… and don’t worry, I will not do such. a thing,” I assured him again, but my voice was timid. He nodded and signalled those warriors to follow me. He slowly removed his grip from my arm.
I took a deep breath of relief while walking away from him. “Start connecting yourself with her wolf,” I instructed Luna as soon as we entered the elevator. She nodded and then retreated deep inside my mind. It was when I realized that I was going to see my mother for the first time. She was here for more than five hours, but I didn’t get the time to see her.
My heart raced at the mere thought of seeing the woman who gave birth to me, and risked her life for me. I didn’t have any complaints from her. She did

everything that she could to keep me safe in those circumstances. She endured everything so that she could give birth to me.
“Are you okay, Luna?” one of the warriors asked me in a concerned tone. I looked at him in confusion and saw worry on his face. I realized that my cheeks were wet. “O, I am sorry… I am alright.” I immediately apologized while wiping my cheeks with the back of my hand. They both still looked at me worriedly, but I passed them an assuring smile.
“What’s the situation around the borders, Dad,” I asked Alpha Adrian through the mind–link while walking towards the pack house. “No movement out, there, honey,” he answered me in a calm tone. We also had activated UV ray sensors all around the borders. There was no way that a vampire could cross them, and reach us.
“Still ask everyone to stay alert and don’t let anything go unnoticed out there,” I instructed him in a calm tone. “Are you alright, pup?” he asked me in a worried tone. “What about you, Dad? There is still no news about Adam, right?” I asked him in a worried tone instead of answering him.
He didn’t answer me, but I knew that he was hell–worried for him. He was angry with him, but he never wished any harm to Adam. “Don’t forget that my best friend is also with him. Your father is like a brother to me, Crystal. I… I am worried for both of them,” he replied to me in a worried tone after some time.
“Dad!” Suddenly an idea came into my mind, and I called him. “What is it?” he asked me in an alert tone. “Aaahhhh… nothing to worry like this, Dad. But can you do something for me?” I assured him that I was alright.
“What do you want me to do? Tell me.” He asked immediately. “I want you to try to connect your wolf with Adam’s wolf,” I told him what I wanted him to do. “What? His wolf? B… but I guess he has already left him?” he asked in a shocked tone.
“He isn’t, Dad. Luna sensed her deep inside him. He is in a sleeping state, and due to those vampire serums, he is too weak to surface. You are his father, and and if I am not wrong, a father also has a separate bond with his children,” 1 answered him in a serious tone. There was silence in the mind–link, but I gave him time to process what I told him.
I never heard about any such bond, Crystal,” he answered me after some time. I stopped in my tracks and narrowed my eyes. I remembered that Luna

once told me about such bond that she felt with Nelson. “There is, Dad. Luna felt that bond with Nelson’s wolf when we didn’t know our real relationship,” I answered him in a serious tone, but there was something else in my mind. right now.
“You are right, Crystal. Every parent has a separate bond with his children and they can activate it at any time to get the location of their children,” he told me after some time in a low tone. I was excited and angry at the same time. He lied to me first.
“I knew it… I knew it…. try to connect with him, Dad. I am sure that Neo will listen to you. He always listened to you and he will listen to you this time too,” I persuaded him in an excited tone. I was desperate to know that they were okay and for that, I could go to any extent.
“Okay… okay… let me try but promise me that you and Luna will not do anything in this matter. You two are still weak to form any bond with a wolf sleeping deep inside a human b*dy,” he asked me in a stern tone, making me roll my eyes internally.
“I won’t, Dad…. just… just try to connect with him,” I replied to him, and I stopped in my tracks when I realized that I was about to reach outside the room where my mother was sleeping. We shifted her straight into the pack house instead of taking her to the hospital, as we didn’t want the whole pack to know about her presence here.
“Luna…. Luna,” I called Luna while resuming my walk. She didn’t answer me, making me frown. She was still trying to connect with our wolf mother, who was sleeping deep inside me. She hasn’t woken up yet. Still, I felt immense pain whenever she tried to wake up.
I didn’t call Luna again, but I thought about connecting myself with my mother. Both I and Luna were one soul. If she could, then I could also do the same thing, right? I reached her room in the next
of the pack house, where Alpha Adrian and Dad Sylvester were staying with their mates, while thinking about how to approach my mother in her unconscious state.
Theo and Dad Sylvester had arranged all the medical equipment here. I felt guilty that everyone did everything for her but I didn’t even get the time to come and see her. I took a deep breath and gently knocked on the door.
Bentered the room and saw Dad Nelson sitting beside her on the bed. “Hey,

honey… how are you feeling now?” he asked me in a light and loving tone. “I am fine, Dad. How are you?” I asked while going towards him. To be honest, I was avoiding looking at my mother. I was scared that she would vanish if I see her.
“I am perfectly alright, love,” he answered me while pulling me in his embrace. I held him tightly while closing my eyes. I put my head on his chest and inhaled his soothing scent. “You are scared, right?” he asked me after some time.
“Yes, Dad…. I am really scared. What if it’s just a dream?” I replied. him truthfully, making him chuckle. “She won’t my love…. she won’t,” he coaxed me slowly pulling me away from him. “See her now,” he asked me while signalling me by jerking his head lightly.
I gulped hard and slowly moved my gaze towards the bed. I gasped aloud and tightened my grip on his arms as I was still holding him tightly. The woman lying on the bed had a similar face to me, but she was looking death pale right now. There were so many machines connected with her b*dy that made her condition look worse. Now it’s time to test my bond with her.
