Chapter 111 

Nelson’s POV. 

“As a vampire, you need blood to get your strength. You remember that, right?” I asked Catherine in a loving and gentle tone. She nodded once while looking at me with tearful eyes. It was clear that she was frightened and unhappy with the situation that she was in right now. 

“The thing is that you are also a vampire now, love.” I said further, and she whimpered immediately. I kept on stroking her head, trying to keep her calm by using our mate bond. I could feel sparks, and they were as intense as they were back then, indicating that she was still a werewolf. 

The fear in her eyes was hurting me badly now. I didn’t want to tell her right. now that I am also a part vampire, and I did this to myself because I had this hunch that something bad happened to her and wanted to be ready for that. 

“I am going to put my wrist on your mouth. Try to feed yourself,” I whispered. to her, and she whimpered again. She was reluctant, but we didn’t have any choice. “She is losing her strength,” Storm told me in a serious and worried tone. I gulped hard and decided to give it a shot now. 

I ruptured my wrist and put it in her mouth. She shook her head and pursed her l*ps tightly. “Please, my love… you will lose your consciousness once again if you don’t drink,” I whispered to her, and she whimpered again in protest. I pleaded with her through my eyes. I could see that she was in pain, and she had no strength to fight her pain now. 

She slowly opened her l*ps and tried to suck. I was now anxious and prayed that my blood would quench her thirst. She started coughing once again, making me remove my wrist from her mouth. I pulled her up when she started gagging. She spat whatever amount she took inside. 

I looked up at them with tearful eyes. Theo gave me a wet cloth to clean Catherine. She was still coughing, but she was completely exhausted by now. None of us said anything and gave Catherine time to calm herself. She collapsed in my embrace, making me hold her tight. “She needs to be fed. Think about something.” Storm said in a worried tone. 

“Crystal,” Theo called Crystal in a low tone, and all of us looked at them. “You try,” he said to her in a low and gentle tone. “No… she isn’t strong enough.” 

Chapter 111 

Kyson immediately protested when I was about to say the same thing. “A try doesn’t harm me much,” Crystal said in a stern tone and moved to us. 

“Crystal… no honey,” I tried to stop her once again, but she ignored me completely. “She is just as stubborn as her mother,” Storm whimpered, but he was right. “Mom,” Crystal called Catherine in a low tone. 

I looked at Catherine, and she slowly opened her eyes. She was still trying to breathe properly. “Try to drink my blood,” Crystal requested Catherine. Catherine’s b*dy immediately stiffened, and my heart also started racing as I was having a bad premonition about this. 

“N…o,” Catherine said in a hoarse and tired voice. “Please, mom…. just… just give one more try,” Crystal persuaded Catherine in the same tone. She punctured her wrist, and Catherine immediately growled lowly. Both I and Storm stiffened when the smell of her blood hit my nostrils. I gulped hard when I realized that I also wanted to drink her blood. She had a very sweet and pleasing smell. 

Crystal put her wrist on Catherine’s mouth, and without any hesitation, Catherine started drinking her blood. Crystal hissed in pain but didn’t move her wrist away. Theo came forward and held Crystal from behind securely in his embrace. “Her blood is special. Stop Catherine before she sucks Crystal dry,” Storm instructed me in a hurried tone after some time. Catherine was sucking Crystal’s blood greedily. Crystal was enduring the pain, but I could see that she was losing her strength. 

“This is enough.. stop now,” I said, moving Crystal’s wrist away. At the same time, Theo moved Crystal away. Catherine immediately snarled angrily, but I held her tightly. “She is our daughter, my love. You can’t suck her dry,” I reasoned to her, and she glared at me, but her expression changed when she realized what she was doing. 

Crystal collapsed in Theo’s embrace, and all of us looked at her with concern. “I.. I am alright,” she said while breathing heavily. She was still leaning on Theo. “I am taking you to the dungeons. I asked them to catch some vampires, and now they are in the dungeons,” Theo said to Crystal. “No…. at first… I… I want to see Mom Elena,” she said, and Theo groaned in frustration. Crystal looked at Catherine in concern but breathed out in relief. To our surprise, Catherine didn’t gag or cough this time. 

Isignalled him to do as she said. He sighed helplessly. “Okay… let’s go then,” he

Chapter III 

replied to her and then scooted her into his embrace in bridal style. I sighed when they walked out of the room. I looked back at Catherine who was now looking better than earlier. 

“Are you feeling okay?” I asked her in a worried tone. She slowly lifted her. head up at me instead of answering me. “Tell me what happened to me and to Crystal?” she asked in a low tone while looking at me with blank eyes. I took a deep breath before looking at her helplessly. 

Catherine stared at both of me and Kyson after I finished telling her what happened to her before she went into a coma. She was now sitting on the bed. with Kyson’s support. There was complete silence in the room for a good few minutes. Kyson was still rubbing her arm to comfort her, but I could tell that she was having a hard time processing what I told her. 

“So, I am now a blood–sucking leach, right?” she asked in a low and painful tone. Kyson immediately tightened his grip on her arm, and I sat down beside her legs on the bed. “No, my love.. you aren’t…. You saw Crystal. She is also a hybrid be… because… because,” I paused when I didn’t understand how to put this situation in words. 

“Because she was in my womb when that bastard injected me with vampire serums, Catherine completed what I wanted to say, making me look at her apologetically. She scoffed and lowered her eyes. Her eyeballs were as red as Adam’s, but it didn’t make her look scary. She was still as beautiful as she was eighteen years ago. It seemed that eighteen years ago. “You did everything to keep our daughter safe, love. You succeeded in commanding Moon to protect Crystal. Crystal loves you so much, and she is the one who planned everything to bring you back,” Kyson said to her while comforting her. 

“You think that she didn’t loathe me for not protecting her from Marcus, huh? I am sure that she… she,” Catherine said in a bitter tone, but paused in the end as she choked on her voice. “Don’t think like that, love. Our daughter is just like you. She values all her relationships even though she has a strong sibling bond with her adoptive brothers and a strong connection with her adoptive parents. She is in pain because she can’t see you in pain. She… she can’t anyone. dear to her in pain,” I tried to make her understand how wonderful her daughter Crystal was. 

Catherine slowly lifted her eyes, and a lone tear escaped from her eyes. “Hey.. 

don’t cry,” Kyson immediately wiped that tear, and I scooted near her waist. “I I don’t want to live this life anymore, Nelson. I… I don’t want to.. to look at at everyone as if they are nothing but a blood bag. I don’t want to be a vampire, Nelson… I don’t want to be,” she cried while looking at me, and I felt that someone had crushed my heart mercilessly. 

“Don’t say like this, love. Nelson also changed himself for you. All these years… he… he injected those serums inside his veins, and endured all the pain alone. so that you wouldn’t feel bad. “Marcus is in the dungeon now. I need to go there and interrogate him so that we can know what you can eat and drink, I told her in a calm tone. She slowly lowered her eyes and took a deep breath. 

“Yeah… I want to know this too. I don’t want to drink Crystal’s blood again. She….. she is my daughter…. my my precious gem… I can’t drink,” she said to me but paused in the end when her voice cracked. 

“Everything will be okay, love. He is right. You should rest now,” Kyson coaxed her and she nodded silently. I stood up from the bed, and I and Kyson helped her to lie down on the bed comfortably. “Try to drink some water after some time. It may be possible that you will be able to drink water now,” I instructed her after tucking her inside the sheet. 

She nodded and closed her eyes. She was looking exhausted, but it was a big relief that she was now better. I looked at Kyson and signaled for him to come out with me. We both slowly walked out of the room. 

Catherine was still a wolf, and I was sure that she still had all her wolf 

powers.

So, I didn’t want to say anything unpleasant to her in front of her, not even in whispers. I slowly closed the door behind us and looked at Kyson. 

“What is it?” Kyson asked me in a concerned tone. “I don’t know why, but I am having this hunch that only Marcus blood could save her,” I said to him in at troubled tone what came into my mind. 

“What? What do you want to say?” he asked me in a confused tone while shrinking his nose. “I am sure that Marcus would have injected her with his blood serum. He… he is so obsessed with her that he wouldn’t let any other vampire’s blood enter her bloodstream. I … I am definitely sure that he used his blood serum on Catherine,” I said further in a serious tone and Kyson narrowed his eyes. 

“You mean to say that both Crystal and Catherine are infected by his blood serum, right?” he asked me after some time and I nodded to confirm. “If this is the case, then, it means that we don’t need to find someone else to Feed 

Catherine. He is already in dungeons,” he said further and a sly smile appeared on my l*ps.
