CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1651

Ben gazed at Jamie, his voice soft. "There's one more thing I want to give you."

"What is it?" Jamie asked, a flicker of curiosity in her eyes.

Ben pulled out a small box and opened it. Inside was a ring.

Jamie froze, her eyes wide with surprise. "Are we putting it on now? Isn't that supposed to wait until tomorrow?"

"I want you to try it on first," Ben explained. "This is a ring I prepared a long time ago, back when you weren't by my side. Without your exact size, I could only guess and hope it fits." Hearing this, Jamie's heart melted. She understood what he meant by "when you weren't by my side"-he was referring to the time she had left him.

She had thought their separation back then was final, that their paths would never cross again. She never imagined that during those days, he had quietly prepared a ring for her.

The thought made her unable to refuse him. Tears welled up in her eyes as she extended her hand, her voice trembling slightly. "Then will you help me put it on?" "Of course," Ben said with a gentle smile.

He lifted her hand and pressed a reverent kiss to the back of it before slipping the ring onto her finger with utmost care.

The silver ring sparkled softly, catching the light. Jamie raised her hand, and in the glow, it seemed to reflect the journey of her life.

She noticed letters engraved on the band-two uppercase Ls.

Seeing her gaze linger on the engraving, Ben chuckled softly. "They're the initials of our names. Do you like it?"

Jamie's voice was quiet but full of emotion. "I love it. I really love it."

They embraced under the evening sky, their hearts full.

The next morning, Jamie woke early.

"You're the bride today! Let me do your makeup. I'll make sure you're the most beautiful one there," Nina said with a bright grin, hands firmly on Jamie's shoulders. Jamie smiled warmly. "I was hoping you would."

Nina was Jamie's best friend and also her

came aid of honor. When it

came to the important task of doing the bride's makeup, Jamie couldn't think of anyone more fitting.

Nina dove into her work with enthusiasm, pulling out all the stops.

It was no easy job. They spent over an hour in the dressing room, leaving the attendants outside nearly panicking.

"Miss Lewis, are you ready yet? The cars are waiting!" one of them called out anxiously.

The plan was to finish the preparations and head to the Century Hotel for the wedding ceremony, but time was running out.

"We're almost done! Just a minute!" Nina shouted back, adjusting the final details.

She stood up and took hold of Jamie's gown. "Alright, bride. Let's get you to the wedding car before people start losing their minds."

"Do you have to tease me at a time like this?" Jamie blushed, her cheeks tinged pink.

Nina chuckled at her friend's shyness.

Since Jamie's gown made moving a challenge, their progress was slow. Outside, rows of wedding cars were lined up, and those waiting had their eyes glued to the door. Ben was among them, his gaze fixed on the entrance, unwavering since he arrived.

Finally, the wait paid off.

Jamie stepped out, her white

wedding gown glowing against the sunlight. Though her face was hidden beneath the veil, the sight of her made Ben's heart race like a drum. He knew that his bride had arrived.

"She's here!"

"Get ready, everyone. Time to receive the bride!" someone shouted, causing Jamie to pause, startled.

Ben shot the crowd a warning glance, silencing the commotion instantly.

He stepped out of the car, walked over to Jamie, and gently took her hand. Feeling the dampness of her palm, he realized just how nervous she was. He tightened his grip slightly, silently reassuring her.
