Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)

Chapter 1164

"I'll help you catch the two of them," Justin whispered into Rosalie's ear.

He was about to give chase when Theodore immediately instructed his bodyguards, "Men, stop him!"

A row of bodyguards stood before Justin, blocking his way.

Rosalie didn't expect Theodore to go to this extent for Aurora's sake, not even caring about the cause of Grandma's death. He was insane, blinded by love, led by the nose by a woman who looked innocent on the outside but was scheming and wicked on the inside.

Thinking of Justin's wounds that had yet to fully recover, Rosalie grabbed his arm and pushed him to one side. "Forget it, don't chase after them. Let them go. I won't let this matter rest just like this."

She walked to Rebecca's tombstone and rested her hand on it.

"Grandma," she said, tears streaming down her face, "I'll get to the bottom of this even if it means risking my life. I won't let you die in vain. Please bless me from above and don't let those wicked people escape punishment from the law."

Rosalie wiped the tears from her face and turned to leave. When she walked past Theodore, she didn't even spare him a glance.

She approached Sebastian and Yerick, and said, "Seb, Yerry, thank you for believing me. Go back early and get some rest."

"Rose, I'll help you out with this. If someone has truly caused Madam Jarvis' death, I'll do all I can to get to the bottom of the matter." Sebastian's heart broke to see her in tears. His hatred for that bastard Theodore was beginning to grow.

"Rose, I'm on your side too! Although I don't know how I can help you, if you don't feel good, just call me and I'll be glad to be a listening ear!" Yerick chimed in.

Rosalie nodded as she tried hard to hold her tears back. "Thank you, you two. Go home, I'll be making a move too. I need some time to calm down. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."

Rosalie then got her baby back from Wesley.

"Rose, did you really overhear what those two women said?" Wesley asked solemnly.

Rosalie nodded. "I did. I explained things accurately, too. My comprehension skills aren't that poor."

Wesley and Sydney turned to look at Theodore at the same time.

"Dad, Mom, we have to investigate things property," Theodore said quickly. "What if this has nothing to do with Aurora? Wouldn't we end up slandering her? I know Aurora, She's very kind, and couldn't even bear to kilfan ant. How could she

"Alright," Sydney said, cutting him off. "Right after saying that you'd investigate things, you went on defending her. You think that she's not guilty. Aren't you being biased toward her?"

"Mom, I meant..."

"Don't bother explaining yourself,"

е

Sydney said. "Whether she's guilty or not, we should look into this. Theo, it's been so long and you still haven't kicked this awful habit. You're always hurting Rose. First, it was for Cynthia's sake and now it's Aurora. I don't even know where that foul-mouthed Angie came from, cursing at Rose with such nasty

words. Reflect on yourself, or Grandma really wouldn't be able to rest in peace."

"I..." Theodore was at a loss for words.

He didn't want to hurt Rose, but he couldn't shift the severe blame for Rebecca's death on Aurora's shoulders when he had no proof.

"Mom, let's not talk about this

anymore. Since he cares so much about Aurora, let him defend her." Rosalie glared at Theodore.

"Theodore Spencer, if we find

that Aurora really had something to do with Grandma's death, I'll See how you have the cheek to face Grandma! Once again, you really managed to surprise me!"

With that, she turned to leave with Steve in her arms.
