Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1111

Judson glanced over at Selene without really thinking about it. To his surprise, he saw three empty bowls stacked next to her.

Did she just polish off three bowls of food in one sitting?

Most girls he knew were always watching their weight, nibbling on salads or something. It wasn't every day you saw someone with such a hearty appetite.

Judson couldn't help but smirk a little before saying, "Sure, no problem."

The lab wasn't exactly a place for guests, but if Flora wanted to bring someone in, it was all good. Her friends were practically family in their eyes.

Selene felt the sweet perks of hanging around with someone like Flora and quietly took another bite. Being as active as she was, she needed to fuel up. Skipping meals wasn't an option; after all, she wasn't a celebrity on a diet. Judson sat down to wait for Flora, while the guy who'd been chatting with her earlier just stared, wide-eyed, as Judson took a seat right next to him.

His eyes practically popped out of his head.

No way!

Senior Judson!

Sitting right there!

What a moment!

The vibe around Flora was easy and relaxed, but Kylie was having a rough time. The whole cafeteria seemed to cringe on her behalf.

Everyone thought Judson was there for Kylie, but nope, he was there for Flora. You could practically see the difference in his demeanor-much warmer and more at ease with Flora than with Kylie.

It was a shocker for everyone. They'd assumed Flora was on her own, but turns out, she had connections.

"I remember now, Senior Judson went to Austenberg with Mr. Kruiz for a meeting this year. That must be when he met Flora," someone whispered.

Hearing that, the pieces fell into place for everyone.

Kylie felt the weight of their stares like daggers on her back, and she couldn't take it anymore. She left, mortified.

Tina, equally embarrassed, quickly followed her.

"Hey, sis-"

"Don't even start!"

Kylie was fuming. If it hadn't been for Tina going on about how Judson was there for her, she wouldn't have been put in such an awkward spot. In her anger, Tina kept her mouth shut.

"Sis, Flora and Senior Judson seem really tight... You think she might've bad-mouthed you?" Kylie's eyes narrowed.

It seemed all too possible. She felt uneasy about it, especially since she and Flora weren't exactly on good terms. She lingered by the cafeteria door, waiting, and finally spotted Judson coming out.

She hurried over to him.

"Hey, Senior Judson!"

Judson had meant to wait for Flora, but something came up at the lab, so he left early. He wasn't expecting Kylie to still be hanging around, so he nodded, "What's up?" "Sorry to bother you, Senior Judson, but I can't seem to get this experiment right. Could you help me figure out where I'm going wrong?"

"Just email me the data and the procedure. I'll take a look when I get a chance."

Kylie managed a smile, relieved that Judson seemed friendly enough. She hesitated for a moment before asking, "Senior Judson, are you and Flora close?" Judson frowned slightly, "Why do you ask?"

"Don't let Flora fool you," Tina

chimed in seizing the moment.

"She's trouble. On her first day at the

base, she went out of her way to

humiliate Kylie and even broke my arm. It still hurts." FindNovel

Judson's expression was hard to read. He didn't look at Tina but turned to Kylie, "Is that true?"
