Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1216

"Dad, calling my cousin is pointless. Can't you see what's happening...?"

gets the Enforcement Division involved, we're toast!"

Zavier was at his wit's end. He wanted to point out that the Enforcement Division seemed to be playing favorites with Flora, but before he could finish, Brandon cut him off: "Why are you hesitating today? Stop dithering and call Sydney right now, or once the Gilbert family Zavier paused for a moment, then sighed and picked up his phone to call Sydney. His dad had a point. If the Gilbert family brought in the Enforcement Division, the Schuler family would be in serious trouble. They had no choice but to take a gamble. The phone rang only once before it was answered.

A clear, lovely voice came through: "Hey, cousin."

"Hey, we need your help..."

Zavier laid out the whole situation.

"Alright, leave it to me. That woman from the lower realms messed up my sister, and I haven't even settled things with her yet."

Hearing these words, Brandon and Ava finally relaxed a bit. With help from someone in the Enforcement Division, the Gilbert family might find themselves in hot water this time. Especially given that the old man from the Schuler family had a long-standing grudge against them.

But Zavier couldn't shake his unease. He had a nagging feeling that Flora had some kind of special connection with the Enforcement Division...

Over at the Schuler residence, Sydney hung up the phone and thought for a moment. Then, she dialed her fiancé, Kenneth.

"Hey, babe, what's going on?" A warm, soothing voice answered.

"Aiden, I need a favor."

Sydney's voice was as sweet as honey. She was proud to have a fiancé working in the Enforcement Division, who was not only competent but also incredibly kind to her. Of course, she was no slouch herself, with ties to the Medical Hall and a friendship with the Roth family heiress. "What do you need?"

Kenneth was a total softie when it came to her.

"Someone's giving my aunt's family a hard time," Sydney explained. "Do you know Flora, the woman who just joined the Martial World?"

She quickly filled him in, "My uncle just wanted to give them a scare, not actually hurt them."

"Now they've been arrested and are being taken to the Enforcement Division. Can you stop that from happening?"

Kenneth frowned. "The Schuler family started it, so it's their fault."

"But you know how protective my cousin Lillian's family is..." Sydney's voice was syrupy sweet. "And we suspect Elora might be The

Martialist. Can you help us confirm? Just bring her to the Enforcement Division; a few interrogations will reveal her true strength." Kenneth hesitated. The Schuler family had indeed attacked first, so those arrests were on them. For him, as part of the Enforcement

Division, to step in... it didn't Sit right.

Plus, Jonathan had already stated that Flora wasn't The Martialist.

"Please, Aiden, for me..."

"Alright."

Kenneth couldn't resist her pleading tone.

"I'll head out now with some guys to block the Gilbert family. And I'll take Flora to the Enforcement Division to verify if she's The Martialist."

After all, neither the Gilbert family

nor Flora seemed like a significant threat. Though he disdained such tasks, for his fiancée, he would make an exception.

After hanging up, Kenneth stood up, ready to make his way to the Gilbert family.

Just then, the door flew open with a bang.

Kenneth, halfway out of his chair, turned to see who it was, and his expression shifted. "Jonathan..."

Meanwhile, Gerald led Flora and the others back to the Gilbert family estate. Joey and Mae were already waiting in the hall.

As they entered, Joey and Mae hurried over.

"Mom, Dad-"

Before Carly could finish, Joey and Mae walked straight to Flora.

Their faces lit up with warmth as they looked at her: "You must be Flora? Such a charming young lady you are!"
