Yuliana sneered when she heard the store assistant, her eyes glaring in anger. "Miss Welmert? So the lowly servant has become a store manager! No wonder you latch on to Yesseca's leg like a dog! Only Yesseca would think of making someone like you a store manager!" She then glared at the store assistant and said, "You want to call the police? Go then, call the police! I, Yuliana Fernandez, am not afraid of you! I'm going to beat her up till my heart's content!"

She then gave Ruth another hard slap.

Ruth's face swung to the side.

The shop assistant was enraged by what Yuliana did.

Although Ruth was her manager, she was very kind to all of the employees. A while ago, her family member had fallen sick and she didn't have any money to pay for the medicine. When Ruth saw her crying, she immediately gave her all of her salary and told her to use it to help her family.

The shop assistant wasn't going to allow Ruth to get beaten up like this!

She immediately called the other employees in the training room for help. All of them rushed towards the bodyguards.

Although the bodyguards were tall and strong, they were completely overwhelmed by all the employees.

Since they were outnumbered, the bodyguards quickly took out their pistols from their waists.

All of the employees were scared out of their wits when they saw the pistols. None of them dared to step forward.

Ruth shouted, "All of you, get back inside! Don't come out!"

"But Miss Welmert..."

"Go back inside!"

The employees all quickly went inside the room and quietly called the police.

Ruth looked directly at Yuliana and said, "Madam, if you want to beat me, then go ahead! You're right. I am just a lowly servant. My fate had already been decided the moment I was born. My only purpose is to serve rich people like you!" Yuliana's eyes glimmered with pride when she heard this.

She snorted. "At least you know your limits Ruth."

"But I beg of you, don't make things difficult for Yesseca. She isn't from Nashaland. No one from Nashaland has the right to berate or cause her any trouble! My life may not be worth much, but I swear, if you dare to cause any harm to Yesseca I will never stop until I've have justice for Yesseca!"

She said that last sentence loud and clear for everyone to hear, she wasn't the same meek and weak Ruth from before.

Yuliana was shocked to hear this,

she then turned around and said et

"Ruth! You, a lowly servant, dare to threaten me?! How dare you

But Ruth didn't say anything, she simply stared directly into Yuliana's eyes. She looked terrifying.

Yuliana was thoroughly convinced.

If she really did cause any harm to Yesseca, Ruth would actually come for her.

Yuliana's heart trembled, then she felt angry and ashamed!

What's happening?!

Ruth was an insignificant ant! Yuliana could easily stomp on an ant!

It seemed that spending time in Agaphen City had unexpectedly caused Ruth to grow bold! She dared to threaten her master! More importantly, Yuliana actually felt threatened!

Yuliana was so mad, she stepped

forward and slapped Ruth several more times. She then pointed her finger at Ruth and said, "You listen to me! I'm not going to bother with Yesseea, not because you said so, but because I don't care to waste any of my time on her at all!"

Yuliana then left angrily.

As soon as she left, the bodyguards let Ruth go.
