Chapter AFTER I AMAZED 150
Chapter 150
I blinked in confusion. "What's going on? Do you need me to leave?"
His gaze softened slightly as he turned to me.
"No. This involves you too. Stay here and wait. It won't be long."
The tension in the room thickened, and I could feel my heart racing in anticipation of whatever was about to unfold.
The sound of the door creaking open drew my attention, and Panther, tall and imposing, walked in, his aura of authority unmistakable.
hind him followed two warriors, the very same who had been assigned as my bodyguards.
They entered with their heads lowered, their faces marred by various cuts and bruises, the remnants of some recent conflict.
Upon seeing Leo and me, they immediately knelt, bowing their heads in shame.
Panther's expression was dark, his lips pressed into a thin line as he glared at them.
His voice was cold and sharp, like the bite of winter air.
"Receiving orders from Alpha, you two were supposed to protect Luna. Not only did you fail to faithfully carry out that duty, but your negligence also endangered her life. Do you think because the war is over, you can now afford to relax?" His voice dripped with disappointment, each word cutting through the silence like a blade.
The two warriors kept their heads down, not offering a word in their defense.
Their remorse was palpable as if the very weight of Panther's words was pressing them into the ground.
Panther's anger simmered beneath the surface, but his next words were harsh and decisive.
"As elite warriors of the pack, I am ashamed of you both. You've proven unworthy of the trust placed in you. As of today, you are relieved of your duties."
The warriors' eyes widened in shock.
They tried to speak, their voices thick with desperation.
"Please, Beta Panther," one of them said, his voice cracking. "Give us another chance. We beg you. Let us prove ourselves again"
Leo was silent, his face grim, trying desperately to suppress his anger in front of me.
They seemed to understand that pleading with Leo was useless, and turned to plead with me.
"Luna, please give us another chance! We will definitely guard you with our lives."
Leo, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke.
His tone was icy, his expression unreadable as he fixed them with a hard stare.
"I entrusted you with Luna's safety, and this is how you repay that trust? She is the most important person to me, and your failure is unacceptable." His words cut deep, and I saw the warriors' faces pale further.
They both turned their gaze toward me, desperation and guilt etched into their expressions.
"Lund," one of them pleaded, "we know we failed you. Please, grant us the chance to redeem ourselves. We promise we will not let you down again
I could see the sincerity in their eyes, the shame they carried for their failure.
And while they had indeed been negligent, I didn't want their lives ruined because of it.

Taking a breath, I spoke, my voice softer than Panther's or Leo's, but firm.
dentity as warriors. They should face punishment, but let them
"They may have failed, yes, but I don't believe their mistake warrants losin prove themselves by continuing to guard me. If they fail again, then they will ..ave no more chances." For a moment, there was silence.
Panther glanced at Leo, who stared at the warriors with a cold, unyielding expression.
Finally, Leo's gaze shifted to me, his brow furrowing slightly before he gave a slow nod.
"Since Luna has spoken on your behalf, I'll allow it. But know this - there will be no second chances."
Both warriors exhaled a shaky breath, their relief evident.
by bowed deeply, their voices thick with gratitude.
"Thank you, Alpha. Thank you, Luna. We will not fail you again."
With a wave of his hand, Leo dismissed them.
They limped out of the room, their heads still bowed low.
As soon as the door closed behind them, Panther stepped forward, his face still stern.
He turned his attention to Leo and spoke in a low voice.
"The police investigation is ongoing. The group responsible for the robbery was made up of repeat offenders. They often target visitors, robbing outsiders before disappearing. The police know them well, but despite several arrests, they're always released after a short time."
"Is that so?"
Leo's voice was cold as ice, and his eyes flashed with the kind of fury I knew all too well. "Typical. What about the vehicle? The one that sped away halfway through the heist?"
"The license plate was forged," Panther replied grimly. "The police have no way to trace it."
Leo clenched his fists, a low growl escaping his lips.
"don't care how difficult it is. Keep searching. I want every one of them found."
Panther nodded sharply. "Understood, Alpha."
With that, he turned and exited the room.
As the door clicked shut, Leo turned his attention back to me, his face softening slightly.
He stepped closer and gently brushed a strand of hair from my face.
